Larry was wonderful, a great storyteller, and a skillful driver.
Fantastic tour with Larry. He is knowledgeable and entertaining. He played his flute and took our picture in the hole alcove.
We had the most amazing tour with Travis. The jeep ride was thrilling, the sights were absolutely breathtaking, and Travis taught us so much about the Valley and the Navajo people - not only by telling us the history of the place, but also through personal anecdotes and music. It was such an incredible experience! Highly recommended!
Our tour with Larry was fantastic! The information he shared about the Navajo people and the history of the rock formations was fascinating. My favorite part was when he played music for us inside one of the caves. It was such a memorable experience!
3-hour-30-minute 4x4 tour. Wonderful, magnificent, ... I'm running out of adjectives! Larry was a great, interesting, available guide. Magical moment with his flute, at the Big Hogan Amphitheater, deep in Monument Valley. 🤩🤩🤩 Thank you so much, Larry
Great experience with our amazing guide Larry! Shared so much history and amazing flute performance! He was the best tour guide I’ve ever experienced. Monument Valley is a very inspirational place. Be sure to take the extended back country tour, very spiritual. I highly recommend this company and hopefully you will be lucky and get Larry as your guide. You won’t be disappointed!
We participated in their Extended Sunset Tour and it was one of the best experiences of our trip to the United States. A large part of the credit goes to our guide, Chandler, who managed to turn a simple visit into a truly engaging experience. From the beginning, he won us over with his friendliness. At the various stops, he gave us clear and understandable explanations (he spoke slowly, repeated the most important concepts, and used gestures to help explain the shapes of the rocks and the origin of their names). And he gave us some truly fun moments. Unforgettable when he tackled a stretch of rough track at full speed: it felt like being on a roller coaster! Or when, driving with one hand (while still being completely safe), he held a small JBL speaker on the roof from which he played music perfect for the setting, from the soundtrack of a western movie to the Ride of the Valkyries. And then he was so kind and willing to make an extra stop to let me take a photo exactly at the spot where I had taken it during my first visit to Monument Valley 28 years ago. The stops in the backcountry were also very exciting. The visit to the kiva, where a Navajo woman told us about some of her people's traditions, was authentic and interesting. The stop in the natural cavern was a poetic and evocative moment: Chandler and the other guides played the flute and sang, taking advantage of the acoustics of the place. If you are lucky enough to have Chandler as a guide, you are truly in excellent hands. Thank you for letting us experience Monument Valley with competence, passion, and also a lot of fun.
Visit from the inside. Unbelievable.
Larry explained the history of Monument Valley very well. He speaks clear English and he does it slowly, so it is very understandable. Larry answered all our questions, he is calm and very friendly. I recommend this 3.5-hour immersion, it was magnificent!
Was amazing. So beautiful. Nate was our guide and he took his time. Highly recommend you do this well worth the mobey
