A great trip but it was very long. From the time we were picked up to the time we were dropped off was over 13 hours. Monument Valley was great. It is iconic from the days of cowboy westerns.
Monument Valley was beautiful. We got to see everything. Trip was well organized. People very friendly. Dominic, our tour guide, was excellent! This was one of the best excursions ever. I highly recommend it.
The ride to and from Monument Valley was ok. The food stop was mediocre. The monument tour, although the geology was spectacular, was most uncomfortable. We transferred to a very old "rez" van with little suspension, little air conditioning and no stool for stepping up or down. It aggravated a sciatica condition so severely that my wife could no longer get in and out of theban at stops. For the price of the tour this van should have been in better condition.
From beginning to end it was wonderful, although be prepared for a bumpy ride at the monument valley.
Dom was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and kept the long drive bearable. Highly recommended. Monument Valley was spectacular.
Talking to our guide into the valley & of course the monuments, as I have wanted to see this since childhood watching all of the westerns.
The part in Monument Valley (1.5 hours) was outstanding. The driver was poor, almost no lunch, talked a lot about himself, gave unsolicited opinions.
Dear Valued Guest, We have already responded to your comments directly. I am guessing this review is not without agenda. Since our last communication: we spoke with the guide regarding the dynamic between you and your traveling companion which was difficult to overcome. The guide requested you move closer to the front of the van so that you might hear him better, you declined. We operated this tour specifically for your group as it did not meet the tour minimum. Clearly, our good intention went awry and we have learned that future guests will be impacted negatively by your less than comprehensive review.
We expected the trip to be a long one, and we were not disappointed on that score. However, our guide,JR, made it very educational with his knowledge/experience that he was generous with, along with his sense of humor, wit, patience and compassion. My grandson took I'll just before the tour started and JR was very kind and understanding. Thank you, JR.
This tour was amazing! Our guide, Stanton, did a fantastic job. He is very knowledgeable and I learned so much on this tour. The scenery was unreal and Stanton made sure we were never rushed. I would highly recommend taking this tour.
No tour. You canceled and I had to change for Grand Canyon tour.I had been in Grand Canyon before, but never in Monumental Valley

When the minimum was not met, we offered you another tour to fill your day and you choose to go on our Grand Canyon Tour in lieu of a refund which we also offered. A One Star Review on a tour that you did not participate in is not valid nor warranted.
