The hot air balloon flight was cancelled only due to the operational/safety conditions affecting balloon flights at that time. The cancellation was limited to the balloon activity and did not mean that the entire Luxor tour was cancelled. The rest of the scheduled Luxor sightseeing services remained available, and an alternative Luxor day tour was offered/provided to the customer. We would also like to clarify that the customer received the applicable refund for the cancelled balloon activity. Therefore, the claim that we changed the booking description in order to avoid paying a refund is simply not accurate. We fully understand the guest’s disappointment about not being able to fly in the balloon. However, describing our company as a “SCAM” and suggesting that we deliberately deceived the customer is misleading and does not reflect what actually happened. We respect every customer’s right to share their experience, but we believe reviews should accurately represent the booking, the services provided, and the refund that was actually processed.

However, personal insults and accusations of dishonesty should not be confused with a factual review of the actual booking. We encourage future travelers to consider the complete booking records, the services provided, the cancellation circumstances, and the refund that was processed before reaching a conclusion about our company.

We would, however, like to clarify a few important points for future travelers. The hot air balloon flight was cancelled due to operational and safety conditions. Balloon flights are always subject to the final approval of the competent aviation authorities and suitable operating conditions. Safety must always come before the operation of any flight. We also strongly disagree with the suggestion that we intentionally delayed informing you in order to prevent you from cancelling or to retain your payment. This was never our intention, and we would never compromise our guests’ interests for this reason. Regarding the 40% refund, this was calculated according to the terms and pricing structure applicable to the package booked. The refund percentage cannot simply be determined by comparing the individual components of a package without considering the actual services included, arrangements made, and applicable booking conditions. Regarding the temple entrance fees, these are official entrance fees payable for the archaeological sites and are separate from the tour/guide/transportation services. The applicable inclusions and exclusions are provided with the booking information. We are always happy to clarify any additional government entrance fees before the tour whenever a guest asks. We are also sorry that you felt your messages were not answered promptly.
