Le domaine viticole de Montefioralle est un tout petit domaine familial d'où l'on peut admirer la vue imprenable sur le vieux village de Montefioralle En règle générale, il est toujours possible de déguster différents millésimes de nos vins, ce qui vous permet de mieux comprendre l'importance du vieillissement de nos vins et les caractéristiques propres à chaque millésime.

This is a wonderful, family-owned vineyard where everyone working there is part of the family. The tour is short and personal, followed by a seated wine tasting at charming little tables. You'll sample about five different wines, each thoughtfully paired with a small bite to complement the tasting. It's not a fancy or upscale experience, but it's warm, authentic, and an enjoyable winery visit.

We loved the experience at Montefioralle Winery. The owner gave us a brief educational tour on winemaking and served us a tasting of some fantastic wines and appetizers. The view from the winery is incredibly beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Do NOT follow Viator’s directions. Go to the winery’s website and use their google maps linkTo locate the winery.

I missed the kindness of the person who attended to us; the wines were good, but the appetizer did not meet expectations.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that the experience did not fully meet your expectations, especially regarding the welcome you received. We would however like to clarify that our experience is designed primarily as a winery tour and guided wine tasting. It is not intended to be an aperitivo or buffet-style experience. What we serve alongside the wines is simply a small accompaniment so guests do not taste wine completely on an empty stomach. We understand that expectations can sometimes differ, and perhaps our experience was simply not what you were looking for. In any case, we appreciate your visit and your comments.
Terrible experience. Arrived at the designated meeting site, a public parking lot 20 minutes before our tour time. There was NO parking spots available, and NO other public parking areas within a 3 mile radius. We drove around, waiting for a space to open up, however after 30 minutes nothing opened up. This is an ancient Roman hilltop town which you can’t drive in, you have to park at one of the designated parking lots outside the city. The only lot within miles of the city was completely full, so we missed our prepaid wine tour. When we contacted the winery they basically said tough luck, no refunds! I would never give my money to a business that operates like this! I do Not Recommend this tour.
Thank you for your feedback, even if we’re very sorry that you missed the experience. That said, Montefioralle is a small medieval village from many centuries before cars were invented, so unfortunately it does not come with a multi-story parking garage. On particularly busy days parking may require a bit of patience or a short walk, which is fairly normal in historic Tuscan villages. Honestly, this is the first time we’ve had guests completely renounce the visit because of parking. Usually people manage to find a small spot nearby, even if not directly next to the winery. Regarding the refund, since the booking was made through Viator, their cancellation policy applies and unfortunately does not include missed tours due to parking difficulties or late arrival. We understand your frustration, but we also hope future visitors understand that part of the experience of visiting a real winery in a medieval hilltop village is adapting a little to the setting. Tuscany can be wonderfully beautiful, but not always wonderfully convenient. 🍷
I accidentally missed my bus to town and luckily was able to reschedule my reservation without a hassle. Our time was perfect and we appreciated the effort, snacks and information provided. Would highly recommend to anyone who is nearby!

The place is amazing with great views of valley and the wines were amazing especially the reserve.. Owner gave us a lovely tour of the winery and gve us slme knowledge about the family business. Really loved the place and food too

We enjoyed our visit to this small family-run winery. We live in wine country and have visited many glitzy wineries. It was refreshing to visit a winery that has been tended by generations, offers a short, but instructive tour and tasty homemade snacks…without any add-on charges. The first three red wines were quite nice. The Vin Santo (served in a fresh and style appropriate glass) was lovely. I do not generally like dessert wines, but this one was delicious.

We chose this venue based on its high ratings, but the tour was really bad. The sommelier was disengaged and at times borderline rude, offering little explanation about the wines. The snacks were basic. There are far better options nearby. For the same price, we’ve had far superior tastings in France, Germany, and other parts of Italy. Overall, poor value for money—would not recommend.

Great experience with an estate located in a beautiful place, with very artisanal techniques (therefore less commercial) with a wonderful result.
