Our guide, Jessica, was fabulous. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and committed to ensuring we had a great experience. The light lunch was not-so-light and absolutely delicious. The wines were delicious as well. Absolutely recommend to any group of wine-drinking adults.
A lovely experience offering an opportunity to walk the vineyards and olive groves, visit the wine cellar and olive press, and to enjoy a leisurely tasting and food pairings.
Owner accompanied us throughout our visit. He was great. Fantastic food and wine at the end. No rush. Visually beautiful in the orchards
Even more than I expected. Jessica’s knowledge about the winery, the wines and the process was phenomenal. She clearly knew her stuff. Walking the grounds and talking about each grape varietal and the olive tress was fascinating. The tasting itself was incredible. The food was delicious and the staff was attentive. It was a wonderful experience.
Jessica was our tour guide. It makes a difference when your guide is knowledgeable of the products made in which this winery and oil mill produced from the grape vines to the olive trees! The picking, the processes, the production, the storage, to the labeling of the bottles for shipping. The olive oil milling was amazing how fast the process is for cold pressed EVOO! The harvest for the grapes is this week, which we will miss, unfortunately. The harvest for the olives is the end of October to November. If you get a chance to go during these times you won't regret it. The tastings of the wines and the oils are delicious especially with the lunch pairings provided. Don't miss this tour!!
We so enjoyed our tour. Jessica was knowledgeable and friendly. The olive oil, wines and lunch were fantastic! Thank you 🍷
We went in April which seems to be the off season so we had the tour to ourselves which was amazing because my boyfriend had so many technical questions about growing processes and the tour guide was amazing with answering them!! It was so personalized!! It was more of a tour of the processes and the groves which we liked but it wasn't much about the taste of wine-- but once again we were more into the process so that was fine. We ended up buying both the oil and wine.
Jessica was an amazing tour guide; she is extremely knowledgeable and fun to be around. We learned so much and had a wonderful tasting and lunch!
Learning about the grapes that make up the wines of Montefalco, and seeing them grow in the vineyard, was such a memorable experience. The trip to the olive grove was informative and incredibly picturesque. The winery tour and explanation of winemaking is very informative, and includes a few hints into their innovative approach to winemaking. The “light lunch” includes so much food in a lovely tasting room - several courses of delicious local specialties served with very generous pours of the estate’s wines. A fantastic experience and one I would highly recommend.
Great wine tasting, fantastic light lunch. Met and chatted to owner and his family. Very friendly and likeable.
