Description
Bethléem est l'un des sites chrétiens importants des terres saintes car il contient l'une des plus anciennes églises du monde, l'église de la Nativité. Une visite guidée de l'église est prévue ainsi que de l'église Sainte-Catherine et de l'église de la grotte du lait. Ensuite, nous continuons notre voyage vers Beit Sahour la ville de The Shepherd's. Beit Sahour est l'une des villes les plus peuplées de chrétiens. Nous visiterons la chapelle du berger où les angles ont annoncé pour la première fois la naissance de Jésus. Enfin, nous irons au Mont de la Tentation et au monastère Saint-Georges. Comme mentionné dans les évangiles, le Saint-Esprit a conduit Jésus dans le désert. Le sommet du mont, à environ 360 mètres d'altitude, offre une vue panoramique spectaculaire sur la vallée du Jourdain, la mer Morte et les montagnes de Moab et Galaad. * Assurez-vous d'apporter votre passeport car il est parfois nécessaire lors du passage des points de contrôle. * Un changement de véhicule est requis, toutes les heures sont approximatives !

Une visite guidée complète à l'église de la Nativité. L’Église est l’une des plus anciennes églises en activité au monde. La première église fut construite par l'empereur romain Constantin au 4ème siècle après JC, sur la grotte où Marie donna naissance à Jésus. L'église est située à l'endroit où Jésus est né à Bethléem.
L’église Sainte-Catherine est un monastère franciscain. Il aurait été construit sur le site de l’apparition du Christ à Sainte Catherine d’Alexandrie et de sa prédiction de son martyre au début du IVe siècle.
L’église de la grotte du lait est le lieu où la Sainte Famille a trouvé refuge pendant le massacre des Innocents, avant qu’ils ne puissent fuir en Égypte. Le nom provient de l'histoire selon laquelle une "goutte de lait" de la Vierge Marie est tombée sur le sol de la grotte et a changé de couleur pour devenir blanche.

La chapelle de campagne des bergers est un édifice religieux de l'église catholique située dans la région de Beit Sahur au sud-est de Bethléem, en Cisjordanie, en Palestine. La grotte de Jérôme est en fait située sous l'église Sainte-Catherine et est également accessible à partir de là. Saint Jérôme, un prêtre dalmatien (345-420 après J.-C.), a traduit une grande partie de l'Ancien Testament de l'hébreu et du grec vers la "Vulgate" latine.
L'Ordre de la Bienheureuse Vierge Marie du Mont Carmel n'a pas un seul fondateur mais a été fondé par un groupe d'ermites vivant près de la « Source d'Elie » sur le Mont Carmel, avec deux racines de leur spiritualité : le Prophète Elie et la Vierge Marie. Au début du XIIIe siècle, les ermites reçoivent une règle de vie, écrite par saint Albert, patriarche de Jérusalem.
Tell es-Sultan, également connu sous le nom de Tel Jericho ou Ancient Jericho, est le site de l'ancien et biblique Jéricho et est aujourd'hui un site archéologique de Cisjordanie classé par l'UNESCO, situé à deux kilomètres au nord du centre de Jéricho.

La galerie d'art Bab idDeir est un espace artistique et culturel indépendant à Bethléem, situé dans les quartiers de Deik faisant partie de la vieille ville historique de Bethléem.
Aida, également orthographié 'Ayda, est un camp de réfugiés palestiniens situé à 2 kilomètres au nord du centre historique de Bethléem et à 1 km au nord de Beit Jala.
Le tombeau de Rachel est le site vénéré comme le lieu de sépulture de la matriarche Rachel.
Le monastère de Mar Saba remonte au Ve siècle. Fondée par Saint Sabas, elle a été considérablement développée et fortifiée au fil des ans. Veuillez noter que les femmes ne sont pas autorisées à entrer dans le monastère. Tout le monde profitera d'une vue panoramique du site.
Le mont de la tentation est situé à environ 3 km au nord-ouest de Jéricho, à environ 58 km à l'est de Jérusalem, en Israël. La montagne est dans le désert de Judée et surplombe la vallée du Jourdain. Après avoir été baptisé par Jean-Baptiste, Jésus s'est retiré dans le désert pour méditer et jeûner, cette montagne sur laquelle Jésus aurait passé les 40 jours et 40 nuits de contemplation spirituelle. Vous pouvez choisir de prendre le téléphérique fourni et jeter un œil à la ville. (60 NIS chacun en option)

The view was so exiting and we took so many photos and upload by Google the city ie. Jerusalem was very much tricky means all buildings are same white color then we walk long and can't back to the church we were Kidanemeret Ethiopian church then we meet an American lady who were out for dog walk she helped us to find our way home and we took picture with her now I want to say Thanks!!! our view was Korontos Monastry The Tomb of Alazar, Betelihem ,the St. Marry and Elizabet home ,Getesemani, the home of Martha and Mariam her sister and mauls etc....
Very good address for visits accompanied by guides who are very attentive to groups. We visited the monasteries with a very pleasant driver.
INCREDIBLE tour! See where Jesus was born in the manger and so many incredible ancient sites! My husband and I took my 81 year old mom whose dream it is to see the site where Jesus was born and all the religious sites. she is not athletic and has a bad foot. She did marvelously but there is a lot of uphill climbing and slippery steps. Our guide Elias always looked out for her and kept lovingly telling us to take our time. He was so kind to our group. We loved it and our tour guides were incredible. I can’t speak more highly of Elias and Mohammad. Elias was especially funny, charming, and taught us a lot about the history and never got political. He has ancestral roots in the land and was well versed in the history. Elias realized we had booked a tour that would not be good for my mom (monastery tour) and also that women aren’t allowed in anyway, so he suggested we switch and he made it happen for us! We are so glad to see Mount temptation, dip into river Jordan, and see the spring of Elijah. However old Jericho was tough and if i had to do it all over again i wouldn’t do it because it was 100 degrees and the steps perilous for my mom. I wish Mohammad warned us about that. Otherwise an INCREDIBLE TOUR!
In the morning I spent it in group with about thirty people to make the biggest religious tourist sites of travel. In the afternoon I wanted to visit the monasteries and this is what was planned on my journey. No one but me had taken that option. So I ended up with a Private guide who made me live my best day of my life in Palestine. I don't have his first name but I will remember all my life the color of his eyes, the warmth of his heart, his generosity and the incredible memories he put in my heart. Thank you 🙏😇
A well organized tour with outstanding Guides. Bethlehem is a lovely ancient city and the countryside around Saint George Monestary beautiful. We were warmly welcomed at the West Bank check point by our Palestinian Guides. A change of vehicle is required - Israeli vehicles can go into the West Bank but West Bank/Palestinian vehicles/guides cannot travel into Israel. A full day of sightseeing but do not expect to get into the Church of the Navity as the line ups are hours long.

Great experience, all recommendations, guides from Eliah tours were excellent, expesialy thanks to Mr Ziad who drove us safely all day and show us many beautiful places. We tasted falafels, hummus, zaatar, sweets and jericho bananas. We hope to visit again.

Can't give anything but a great review for this tour. I changed the plan slightly with the help of the guides, who were helpful, knowledgeable, funny and inclusive. I've read reviews of some tours being too political etc. But I and our group found Boaz very open but respectful and not political, in fact spiritually enlightening would be a good explanation, he qouted from Bilble(s), Koran and Torah. We even got the Our Father recited in Aramaic, the lanuage Jesus would have spoken. The amount of food tasting, sweets and coffee supplied, we were brought into Bethlehem with open arms!! One of the childern of a really charming family on the tour, kept calling it "the best tour ever", they had done several tours already this week!! We were immersed in the history and life in Bethlehem from long before Jesus was born to the modern day! Jerico and the baptismal site were items in there own right, things and places I wanted to experience, but we were spoilt in Bethlehem, even getting into 2 grotto's; the Church of the Nativity and the grotto in St Catherine's where St Jerome translated the bibles and was originally buried. We were very lucky, most of the time you don't get into one grotto with the crowds or booked for masses, to get the 2 was special. The tour was excellent, as I really wanted to see the Greek Orthodox monastery - I did not like the first guide injecting one sided politics into the tour - many were uncomfortable, otherwise the tour was very good.

the visit to the Nativity Basilica is quite complete, too bad there is no time to visit the city, the souk and the Bethlehem market Shepherd's Sanctuary and milk grotto can be lightened the comments on the separation wall were a nice surprise, we were seduced by the sites of the monasteries good support by organizing guides, available professional, and adaptable very positive results
