Amazing experience! Such kind and loving people from the transfer to the activities. Very engaging, fun, and a must go to learn more about Dominican culture, shout out to Radel for his amazing knife skills, shout out to Anthony and Rony for the amazing pictures and kind words. The food was also amazing!! Love it all!
Great half day tour! Picked up directly at our resort, learned about coffee and cocoa and then off to see the monkeys. Johnny Tequila was amazing! He was funny and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed his sense of humour. The surprise for us was the lunch we got to have at the end of our tour. Fried chicken was delicious. Already gave Runners Adventures details to our friends who are coming in a couple of weeks
The experience was amazing!! We had such a good time!! We were there for my birthday, so this is an experience I won't ever forget!!
The excursion was perfectly organized, from the pick up to the Coconut House, the interaction with the monkeys, the guides, the photographer to the drop off at the hotel. A great excursion that is fun for adults and children.
I did not even get to go on the tour because no one notified me that the tour I was going on, I would have to wait for 2-3 hours while the rest of the group did another activity. Not only that, but I was never given confirmation as far as what time we will be leaving or notified of the wait time. Had I known, I could have easily booked another part of the tour so we wouldn’t be waiting or made appropriate accommodations. When I asked the tour guide if I can pay the difference to go along, she said there was no space. When I asked for my money back all of a sudden “they were gonna see what they could do about space”. It’s very frustrating. The guide said the company would be in touch with me regarding refund and here I am yet with any contact from them. SUPER disappointed. I’ve reserved trips in various other countries on different platforms (Viator, Airbnb, get your guide) and this is the first time I have not been able to go on my trip, or that I did not receive any info prior to the trip. When I called the tour guide company directly, they argued that bc I had booked through a 3rd party agency, I was basically out of luck. Still waiting to talk to someone.
Dear Traveler, We sincerely regret that you were unable to enjoy the excursion you booked, and we fully understand your frustration due to the lack of information and the situation you experienced. As previously indicated, since the reservation was made through a third-party agency, refunds and confirmations are primarily handled by that agency. For this reason, we recommend contacting them directly to follow up on your case and continue the corresponding process. However, if you would like to expedite the refund process or have us review your situation internally, please contact us at contact@runnersadventures.com, including your full name, reservation number, tour date, and the agency through which you made the booking. We will gladly do our best to assist you within our possibilities. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused. We remain at your disposal.
Amazing trip. I would highly recommend this adventure when you come to punta cana. Our tour guide Angle kept us entertained & gave us so much knowledge about Dominican Republic especially Punta Cana
Angel and Manuel were amazing guides! Angel was so personable, engaging and funny! I enjoyed all the facts that he provided during our trip! Would highly recommend this tour! 5 stars all the way!
The entire excursion was well organized and worth the money. Pickup, the safari ride to Monkeyland, the driver, the tour guide, the monkey trainers, and everything in between, especially the people, make this an A+ experience. I highly recommend it.
everything was perfect juan cruz was so kind and friendly i recommend everyone to try this come to see dominican tom cruse
Its a great way to spend a little time being amused by small monkeys crawling all over you while you feed them! The tour company (Runners) was communicative and well organized. They picked up on time, had good drivers, entertaining guides, and provided a good experience at Monkeyland (which they own). They appear to treat the monkeys well, care about their health and well being (they will not let you in if you appear sick, etc.), and are protective of them. There is a little bit of a sales pitch during/after a demonstration of coffee and cocoa farming/processing, but even that was informative and entertaining (and my girlfriend bought several of the items). Overall, a great way to spend a day!
