Monastère de Barcelone à Montserrat: Visite, Transferts & Basilique

I had a really wonderful time on the Montserrat tour! A big thank you to the whole team for organizing such a lovely experience. Montserrat is absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed discovering this special place. The only thing I felt was that the tour time was a little too short. Although the tour was from 9:00 a.m. until around 3:00 p.m., I would have loved to have had more time to explore, see more of Montserrat, and learn more from the guide. Personally, I would really appreciate a longer tour with more guided time and less free time, as having the guide with us would help us discover and understand more of the history, culture, and beautiful places around Montserrat. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I’m very grateful for the wonderful day. Thank you so much! I would definitely recommend the tour and would be happy to come back again for a longer experience. ❤️

This is my 2nd time in Barcelona but my first experience outside of the city, Montserrat did not disappoint. I was surprised to see more of a village square instead of just a monastery, I would consider staying at the site (there are a few hotels/hostels) if I ever came back. Mark and Siobhan were great guides providing fun historical information both on the bus ride and at the site plus helpful suggestions on how to use our free time. We ended up riding the funicular train (not included in this tour) then walking up to the overlook. We packed a picnic lunch but also treated ourselves to some gelato, all of the restaurant options had lines out the door so it was nice to not have to wait. Beautiful basilica, the Madonna is visible on a second story balcony and we could see people who had paid to be up close on the landing but we were happy with the view.

Mark and Chivon were very professional and considerate of all the tour group. Very informative, interesting and fun!

Good trip that strikes a nice balance between free and guided time. The panoramas are spectacular and it is a beautiful little village. The guide Marc was very good, and his English was impeccable. He optimized the time on the bus, in order to optimize our free time on site, which was greatly appreciated.

The guide for this amazing trip to Monserrat (Francesco) was quite knowledgeable and well organized. His instructions were very clear. The combination of guided and free time was perfect for this site. Highly recommend this tour company. They delivered exactly as described.

Great tour, beautiful place. The tour itself was fantastic and I loved we had free time which the other tours didn’t offer longer free time.

The site is really worth the detour. A perfect blend of wonder between nature and the beauty of the monuments and buildings. The tour is very well organized and the guide was excellent.

The meeting place could have been a little better marked with a sandwich board or something to let us know we were at the right place. No signage for “tours meet here”. We were afraid our uber dropped us at the wrong spot.
