Molokini & Turtle Adventure: Petit groupe de Ma'alaea Harbor

Great crew onboard, fantastic service and great BBQ, delicious. crew are also Marine biologists and very knowledgeable, we were unfortunate not to see Turtles, but some people saw some reef sharks, but some beautiful coral and fish. We did nearly miss the tour as Viator said to show up at 07:45 but the boat was scheduled to depart at that time, so double check and arrive 30mins early if you aren’t provided with both a separate arrival and departure time.

This was a very awesome tour, my son and I really enjoyed going on and had a wonderful time. Being a local who lives here in Maui, this made me happy and proud because the captain and crew did really good representing the island that we’re from and sharing the beauty and information of our island with visitors. They had the right amount of passengers where it was not crowded at all. Everything was very organized. The vessel Ocean Voyager is super nice and clean. The weather was beautiful and perfect, we went to 2 different snorkeling spots and got to snorkel a good amount of time, saw fishes, some saw turtles and also got to see beautiful reef structures. The food was good and they even offered seconds! The crew is the best! Captain T is awesome and so is his crew. Very knowledgeable, helpful, hardworking crew and very pleasant. They even played the coolest songs on board. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

Sadly, the winds were high so we couldn’t snorkel at Molokini or Turtle Arches, but the captain was able to take us to 2 more sheltered areas where we saw turtles and fish. The water was refreshing and I appreciated the ability to rent a wet suit top. I really felt comfortable in the water and was glad that they had staff around the snorkeling area to answer questions and offer assistance if needed. Unfortunately, the drinks and the food were pretty mediocre. The chicken was dry and cold and they ran out of hot dogs. There were no garnishes for the drinks, so no lime for the gin and tonic. It’s a small but important thing. There was also some confusion about whether it was unlimited drinks or just one per adult. We actually had more than one each but that was mostly because the first drinks were pretty bad and we didn’t drink them.

Wow 10/10. Just toured with Andy, Captain Aaron and Jake. Went to molokini crate front and back side then a third location to see turtles. Even saw a couple of whales. The crew was top notch, two of them had degrees as marine biology and part of what made this tour great was the education between the amazing snorkeling. I could not recommend this tour enough! Great organization! Great snorkel opportunities! Great food and drink! And best of all the sweetest crew dedicated to education, making sure you have the best time and gave me wonderful advise for the rest of my trip!!

The experience was great and the crew was awesome. We got to see turtles, dolphins and whales. The food on the boat was great and the playlist was even better. Who doesn’t like cruising the Pacific jamming to Incubus and AC/DC? Highly suggest taking the trip if you have the time.

Amazing day. I am generally not a fan of tour groups but they changed my mind. Great crew! Great captain and saw so many cool things. We had a windy day. They kept us safe and went out of way to make sure we all had a great day. Thank you!!

I’d go 2.5 stars if available. I booked with them due to their mission and a good price point. The staff and information shared while on the boat was great. However the biggest issues to share were: 1) We were rushed at both snorkel stops, being asked to get back to the boats after only about 45 minutes at each stop. Was hoping that we’d get at least one hour at each spot, and was even told on the boat at the start “2 hours of snorkeling”, however both times we were being rushed. I get there are 100 people to deal with, but cutting into the actual activity time is disappointing. 2) The snorkel gear is pretty bad. If you want a better experience rent your own. I swapped mine out because the first was broken, but the second couldn’t hold a seal and I didn’t want to lose time swimming back to the boat and dealing with it since we had such short time. 3) Our tour was pushed back 2 hours to accommodate a large cruise ship group. This was fine except this 2 hour pushback meant that the waters got rough and choppy after our first stop (of course, thats why the morning is supposed to be the better time) and because of this we couldn’t go to the advertised 2nd spot “Turtle Town” like we and the kids had clearly hoped. We found a second spot, and thankfully did see one turtle, but the allure of Turtle Town and hoping to see several turtles was not to be because the cruise ship group was able to get their tour when they wanted even if they delayed it for everyone else. That was pretty disappointing. It was a nice day and good to see Molokini, just know that your expectations very well might not be met if you want great snorkeling and turtles. With wetsuit rental, buying photographs, and leaving a tip, expect your tour to cost you $1,000 for a family of four. Pretty steep to just be disappointed. Save your money, rent your own gear, and visit the best snorkel beaches on Maui instead. They were just as good for us and so much more affordable.

Its always a good day on the water in Maui! Due to the receding storm from the previous weekend, water conditions at Molokini were not ok for snorkeling, but the captain and his crew (after speaking with other captains) regrouped, and we had a great day at Turtle Town and then the reef off of Makena Beach. Safety was top concern which is awesome. Captain and crew were top notch, knowledgeable helpful and patient with our mixed boat of folks. Breakfast and lunch included, a must do!

We have done several snorkeling trips and have loved most of them. This trip was one of the best because we loved how the staff created "lifeguard stations" in the water and made us feel so safe, the boat was very comfortable, and everyone was so helpful. For 5 people, this was an expensive excursion and one of the few that we felt was totally worth it. Very much recommend this company.
