I felt scammed with the cost of the service and the price/service ratio provided, we were just my wife and I, the driver, although he drove correctly, was a young Russian, with very little knowledge of English or French language. Visiting hours were changed and at the end of a person I guess was from the service rushed us for the visit to the last winery. I reiterate, I do not recommend this tour if it is not with a van as transport, and with a group of people.
We don't speak Spanish and don't offer experiences in Spanish. If I analyse the text I don't see in this review the words Champagne, Veuve Clicquot, Most et Chandon, Pommery which should be somehow mentioned if You took part at such a trip. Even if somebody didn't like our services all real travellers rate very high the English guided tours made by the Champagne houses themselves. So I came to conclusion that You did not travel with us.
While the tour said it's a full-day "private" excussion, we assumed the ride would be a Van, with other people, that's the least of it. Our driver was respectful at all times and complied with traffic regulations, but he is a young Russian, speaks very little the English language, some French and no Spanish which is our language, so throughout the trip we crossed very few sentences, always helped by a translator of the cell phones. In general it was fulfilled as promised, but I consider that for the service provided the fee is excessive, very expensive and not recommended for other people who want to do this type of experience.

This was a great trip. The driver picked us up at the hotel right on time. We were able to enjoy four champagne stops and had an amazing lunch. We would highly recommend this tour.
Horrible experience. Way over priced, do not book. Was rushed and at the end of our day our driver was no where to be found because he said someone else got a flat tire. So we were left waiting around in the hot sun for over an hour for him to come get us.
This message is posted to the wrong business and the reviewer did not experienced this trip. We had no flat tyre accident. From the description we can not understand if the reviewer has experienced the visits by Veuve Clicquot, Moet et Chandon, Pommery and Chateau Boursault. Were these visits which are rated by all customers as 5 stars also awful for the customer. How was the Reims Cathedral visit ? What about Hautvillers viewpoint ? How was our Mercedes ? How was the driving ? What about a stop at the ret area on the way to Champagne ? I liked almost "waiting around in the hot sun". Champagne is not Nevada. No hot sun. Only cool Champagne. Don't trust this review.
All of the Champagne houses and cellars listed were visited. Our driver Roman, although not proficient in English, was very polite and helpful throughout the day. He helped with photos and gave clear times at each location. He drove safely and added charm to our experience. We had a super day!
Great itinerary and we were able to make all the stops. Definitely felt we experienced the Champagne region and loved the cave tours
Ellen, the reviewer below, is right. I can’t speak to the cancellation part, but I was definitely told that we were REQUIRED to upgrade in order to reserve our tours. I booked this experience weeks prior, but Cyrus (who reached out to me) messaged me a few days before and said that we had to do the upgraded experience. This was for Moët and Veuve. He was quite stern during our communication and he tried to say that the price changed because I changed the date. Again, I booked the date weeks prior to the experience so I’m certain that luxe tastings were not the only tastings offered when I booked. Our driver was absolutely amazing tho! He was friendly, prompt and made us reservations at the very delicious Chez Max restaurant! This is the only reason that I’m giving a 2 instead of a 1. Shame on you, Cyrus!
Great experience ! That's it. This reviewer accepted the higher level experience and called it here GREAT EXPERIENCE. All communications with customers run trough Viator messenger and are official. There is no place there to be rude or something like that. Never talked on telephone, just sent official messages. We reserve the right (see our tour description) to offer a higher level and more expensive experiences by Moet et Chandon and Veuve or to cancel with FULL refund upon the customer's decision. I hurts to pay additional money for the additional service or higher level service. So, dear customers, please ! don't change the dates close to the departure. It makes it more difficult for us to set it up.
If you are looking for a private chauffeur, in a nice car to take you to 2 major champagne houses- 1 each in Epernay & Reims then this is for you. We loved going to Moet and Veuve- the other 2 houses were bonuses in each city. Our chauffeur spoke very little English so no touring from him. He got us to each site and told us when we needed to be back. The tours are at the champagne houses themselves, which were fantastic. We found that only having an hour or so at each house was a bit tight to actually complete the tour and tasting so you have to watch the time closely to be able to enjoy the tastings at the end of the tours.
DO NOT TRUST THEM! THEY CANCELLED US THE NIGHT BEFORE. Having prepaid this champagne tour many weeks before our trip to Paris this company cancelled us the night before. They tried to extort more money than the $1200 we had paid them saying they had not booked some of the wineries and we now had to upgrade to VIP tours for another $200 more. When we balked and called Viator to intercede (we booked thru them), crewel cancelled us. This company is dishonest. do not use them and do not trust them.
PLEASE, TRUST US ! DON"T TRUST THE REVIEWERS. These clients CANCELLED THEMSELVES the booking and got FULL refund. That's it. Now the story in details: According to our conditions (see the trip description) we reserve the right to offer higher level and more expensive Guided tours + tastings by Moet et Chandon and Veuve Clicquot if Basic services are not available. By this booking we could offer only the High end tours + tastings. So the customer could decide if he/she can accept it or to cancel with FULL refund. We use only official rates of the Champagne houses and provide the official web links. So everybody can see that we operate with the official rates only. These clients preferred to cancel because it seemed them too expensive I suppose and got FULL refund. It's up to them. It is their decision. I made this experiences by Moet et Chandon etc myself. It was great. Highly Recommended.
We went to 4 champagne houses, cathedral of Anitra Dame Reims, and had lunch. All wonderful. A bit rushed to fit it all in, but wonderful. Our driver was very professional.
