Moalboal Sardine Run, tortue de mer et chutes de Mantayupan

Cette excursion d'une journée complète commence à Cebu. Vous arriverez à Moalboal, un spot de snorkeling de premier ordre après quelques heures de route. Profitez de nager autour de magnifiques récifs coralliens, d'adorables tortues de mer et de grands bancs de sardines puissantes à Moalboal. Découvrez la scène mystérieuse d'adorables tortues de mer nageant gracieusement et de petites sardines migrant comme une immense forme de vie dans un banc. Après la plongée en apnée, visitez les chutes de Mantayupan, l'une des plus grandes cascades de Cebu, avec une chute de 98 mètres et entourée de falaises et d'arbres, ce qui la rend relativement fraîche même pendant la journée et est célèbre comme station balnéaire. Guérissez dans cette partie cachée et inexplorée de l'île de Cebu, peu connue des touristes et appréciée de la population locale.

Les chutes de Mantayupan, l'une des plus grandes cascades de Cebu avec une chute de 98 mètres, sont entourées de falaises et d'arbres, ce qui les rend relativement fraîches même pendant la journée, et sont réputées comme retraite estivale.
À Moalboal, vous pouvez entrer dans l'océan depuis la plage dès votre arrivée et profiter de la plongée en apnée!
En regardant dans l'océan, vous verrez un grand banc de sardines qui scintillent et créent un tourbillon. Vous pouvez également profiter de diverses scènes mignonnes de tortues marines nageant gracieusement, mangeant des algues et se reposant paisiblement.

L'heure de ramassage se fera entre 4h00 et 5h00. La prise en charge est proposée uniquement depuis les hôtels de Cebu City et Mactan Island. L'heure exacte de prise en charge sera communiquée la veille de la visite. Veuillez nous communiquer le nom de votre hôtel au moment de la réservation. La prise en charge de Moalboal ne peut être effectuée que sous forme de visite privée, contactez-nous.

Great fun and safe too. ! Elvi. Our guide, is really friendly, helpful, and fun! Guides at the beach are attentive and will keep track of you when water gets crowded which can happen when sea turtles come on the scene. Early start to the day ensures seeing the sardines before they move to deeper water. I recommend this tour.

Tour booked online night before. Included nice driver & guide, entrance fees. 430am departure! Waterfall lovely and no one else there. Snorkeling to see the sardines was cool but a lot of tourists in life jackets who couldn’t swim. S

Our driver and guide were punctual, they picked us up at 4:30am. From Cebu city, its around a 2 hour drive to the falls. Then another hour drive to Moalboal. The snorkelling experience was incredible! Saw thousands of sardines and several turtles. Overall, I felt well taken care of.

One of the reasons to visit Moalboal was to experience the famous sardines fish school. We loved it but maybe our expectations were too high. We definitely liked more the snorkeling areas in Coron than in Moalboal. Anyway, the visit to Moalboal was a great idea, there is a great vibe in the town and we recommend to stay at least for two or three days.

The Sardine Tornado drops off right in front of the beach! When you are staring, the sea turtles cross under your eyes. The guide dived through the sardine tornado and was thrilled to take a photo with me surrounded by sardines and the cute sea turtle.

We were picked up at the hotel on time, and the 3-hour drive with Ninyo was very pleasant – plenty of space and a relaxed atmosphere. Ninyo (driver) and Mae (tour guide) were extremely friendly and gave us lots of interesting insights about the Philippines. Snorkeling with sardines and turtles was an impressive experience that we can absolutely recommend. Ninyo and Mae took care of everything so we could just relax and enjoy the trip. Especially beautiful: They took underwater pictures of us at no extra cost. Thank you, Ninyo and Mae, next time we bring Lindt & Sprüngli chocolate ;) – it was an unforgettable day!

The trip is split into two parts. The first part was the sardine run and the turtle viewing. The waters are crystal clear and there are SO MANY sardines present. I thought we would have to go far from the shore but it’s more like a drop off close to the shore which is very nice. We also saw some barracuda, jelly fish, lots of other colourful fish and a turtle!! He was so cute. There is a good amount of time to swim and the guide was fantastic. You can hire flippers also for 150p so you can swim further down which was helpful. The second part was the falls. They are BEAUTIFUL! You can swim under them and they provide life jackets for such. The photos we took here are really nice. Definitely recommend bringing your own snacks and lunch for the day however the tour guide did stop at the 7/11 for us which was awesome! They also have a GoPro that you can borrow and they will upload all the photos and videos for you to your phone before you leave. Definitely recommend. :)
