Pour ceux qui séjournent au sud, au sud-est, à l'ouest et au sud-ouest de Zanzibar, notre point de rendez-vous sera au bord de la plage du restaurant Mama Mia, à Nungwi. Si vous êtes à Nungwi et Kendwa, nous viendrons vous chercher et vous déposerons gratuitement à la réception de votre hôtel / à la plage / au parking extérieur de l'hôtel.

We are staying in the north of the island so we were picked up by boat at the beach which made our lives easy. The 3 crew were very friendly and helpful, they were clear with what we were going to do, and made it very enjoyable. Snorkelling with the dolphins was made easy as the crew were very clear on when to jump and when to wait, I personally had 3/4 great moments swimming with them, others on the boat had even more. The bottled water and fresh fruit was a great additional touch. We would say this is a must to do when in Zanzibar!
Great guides and you can’t beat being picked up by the boat on the beach in front of your hotel. The guys were determined to find dolphins for us to swim with and they did. Certainly an experience worth the effort they put into it. It was high tide so no sand bar available so they opted for the beach to provide us with fresh fruit for our breakfast.

My dream came true, as we could jump into the ocean to swim with the dolphins in their natural habitat. It was absolutely amazing! To watch the dolphins swim underneath you was so fascinating. :-) We were lucky, that it wasn‘t high season and beside a few other boats we were alone with the dolphins. Our guides were friendly and cool and did a great job. Thank you very much for this unforgettable experience!
We were picked up from the beach without any problems with a 1-minute walk, and then we headed towards the island. Since many other boats were already with the dolphins, our guide suggested that we first go snorkeling and then swim with the dolphins. This turned out to be a stroke of luck. He made sure that all participants felt comfortable while snorkeling. Then we went to the sandbank, which unfortunately was underwater, but still provided an experience. Upon arriving with the dolphins, we were glad to be in this boat. Instead of chasing the dolphins like the other boats, our guide and boat driver were very animal-friendly and steered away from the group, allowing us to enjoy the dolphins for our boat.
The guys picked us up by boat right from the hotel beach in Nungwi and took us straight away to search for the dolphins. The water was incredible and swimming with the dolphins was such a fun experience. We then snorkeled at the reef area which was full of tons of fish. Then off to a sand bar for photos, enjoy the sun, and a big plate of fresh fruit. After, the ride back to the hotel, the guys made the trip back extra special with singing and laughter. It was super fun and the team was amazing. Tour capacity was 8 people and it felt very intimate and I couldn’t have asked for a better morning. Highly recommend!
The tour was really great. We were able to swim with the dolphins, but we also had the impression that the guides were still watching over the animals and did not chase after them. You could still get very close to them. The snorkeling and the visit to the sandbank were also very nice. Since we traveled about an hour and wanted to spend the entire day in Nungwi, it would have been great to be able to rinse off the saltwater briefly and change somewhere. But otherwise, it was excellent.
I loved this trip. The staff were great, I was picked up on time, the snorkel gear was good and they gave us plenty of opportunities to see the dolphins. The day was well planned with dolphin experience, snorkelling and the beautiful stop at the white sand bank and crystal clear water. Very nice trip 👍🏼✨
Great respect for animal welfare. The guide, in the region where we have spotted dolphins, told us that they did not feel comfortable with more than two boats, as it could stress the dolphins, so it was decided to go snorkeling in another area near Nemba. On the way back, we had the opportunity to see a family of about 20 dolphins that had separated from the area of the boats, and we were able to see them underwater. Highly recommended.
Definitely book onto this tour, the guides were so informative and helpful. They explained the day well and altered the order of snorkelling/dolphin swimming so we would get the best out of each activity. They gave us plenty of time swimming with dolphins and it really felt like they wanted to give us the best experience. One of the guides offered to take my GoPro and he went diving down to the dolphins closer than I could get and got the most amazing video.
