Itinéraire
L'excursion part d'un hôtel ou d'une gare dans la ville d'Hiroshima; l'ordre de l'excursion peut être modifié entre Miyajima et Peace Park pour voir la porte flottante Torii. Nous utilisons les transports en commun. Le temps de trajet jusqu'à Miyajima est de 1 heure.

La porte Torii flottante apparaît sur la mer lorsque la marée est haute. À marée basse, vous pouvez marcher près d'elle et être impressionné par sa taille et sa beauté!
Le sanctuaire Itsukushima flotte sur la mer et est inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Ce sanctuaire, également trésor national, change d'aspect avec le flux et le reflux de la marée. Les visiteurs peuvent apprécier la beauté de la majestueuse architecture japonaise de la période Heian. Si vous avez de la chance, vous assisterez à une cérémonie de mariage ou à une danse dédiée aux dieux !
Le temple Daisho-in est un temple unique et rare. Le plus ancien temple de Miyajima, il est situé au milieu d'une nature riche et possède de nombreuses attractions. Ce temple a été aimé par le shogun Hideyoshi et de nombreuses autres personnes influentes, et est un incontournable!
Partie du sanctuaire Itsukusima, site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, construit au XVIe siècle. Les grands halls et les espaces sans murs sont calmes et paisibles. Shogun Hideyoshi ordre de construire.
Promenez-vous dans la rue commerçante Omotesando. Bordé de magasins d'alimentation et de souvenirs vendant les produits de spécialité de Miyajima tels que les huîtres, le bol de riz à l'anguille de congre et les momiji manju (petits pains à la vapeur). Des ateliers de fabrication à la main Momiji-manju sont également disponibles.
Nous nous dirigerons vers le Peace Memorial Park. Fondamentalement, nous utilisons un ferry, JR, ou train. Cela prend environ 1 heure. We spent a second day with Yuka touring Miyajima island. This was a highlight of our 2 week trip to Japan. Yuka knew the exact order to see the main highlights and avoid the crowds. She took us to a great restaurant specializing in oysters which are grown in the waters nearby. Overall it was a lovely day.

Yuka was our guide today. She greeted us at our hotel (she was there early) we requested to walk to the train station vs taking a taxi. She got us through both the train and ferry station which ease. She knew where to sit on the ferry to get the best view, she is very knowledgeable of the entire island and shared her pictures with us. She selected a great restaurant for lunch and offered us the cable car ride back instead of the train for a different experience. Yuka speaks very good English, we had a great day on this island tour.

What an amazing day! Aya was the perfect guide, patiently guiding us through (a rainy) Hiroshima and then a high-speed boat trip to Miyajima Island (which has to be anyone’s highlight on a trip to Hiroshima). Masa was a great guide! She is very knowledgeable about the Miyajima Island. She showed us the ways to be respectful of the Temples and shrines. As well as the history behind them. The Otorii Gate was very beautiful and there as sacred deer 🦌 just roaming around. You won’t be disappointed if you hire her to be your guide. We really enjoyed her company.

How can we sum up the magic of being guided by Masa through the centuries-old Itsukushima shrine and Daishoin temple on Miyajima Island?
