Chez Howlanders, nous vous recommandons vivement le « Minitrekking Perito Moreno » pour découvrir la majesté du glacier de trois manières différentes : Randonnée sur glace sur le glacier Perito Moreno. Vous découvrirez le glacier de près et verrez les formations, les petits ruisseaux, les gouffres, les crevasses... Profitez de la vue pendant que le bateau navigue le long de la paroi du glacier. Appréciez la grande hauteur du glacier puis regardez et écoutez les gros morceaux de glace tomber du glacier. Si vous sélectionnez le forfait avec transferts, vous visiterez également les passerelles et les points de vue du glacier. Options de l'excursion
Itinéraire
La veille du début de l'excursion, votre guide vous contactera au nom de notre agence (Howlanders) pour vous informer de l'heure de prise en charge à votre hébergement à El Calafate (en raison des horaires de départ différents de l'excursion tout au long de la matinée). Une fois le groupe rassemblé, vous vous dirigerez vers le port « Bajo Las Sombras », qui se trouve à quelques kilomètres du point de vue du glacier. Si vous ne sélectionnez pas le forfait qui comprend le transfert, vous rencontrerez le groupe directement à Puerto Bajo Las Sombras, à l'intérieur du parc national Los Glaciares. Du port, nous prendrons un bateau et naviguerons le long de l'impressionnant mur sud du glacier Perito Moreno. Après le débarquement, les guides nous organiseront en groupes et commenceront la courte marche vers le glacier. Le guide aidera ensuite les randonneurs avec leurs crampons, ce qui débutera ainsi l'incroyable randonnée à travers la glace de l'un des glaciers les plus impressionnants du monde.
Pendant environ une heure et demie, le groupe parcourra le glacier avec nos guides qui nous guideront sur des sentiers fermes et sécuritaires. Sur ces sentiers, nous aurons l’occasion d’observer les crevasses, les moulins et les petites lagunes bleues situées sur le glacier. Tout au long du parcours, notre guide nous informera sur les nombreux glissements de terrain du glacier, ainsi que sur la faune et la flore endémiques de la région.
Sur le chemin du retour, nous traverserons la forêt de Magellan, où nous pourrons profiter de vues à couper le souffle. Avant de retourner à El Calafate, nous aurons du temps libre pour profiter des vues spectaculaires sur le glacier Perito Moreno depuis les passerelles, mettant ainsi fin à une journée mémorable.

L'heure exacte de départ sera confirmée une fois votre réservation effectuée. It was absolutely amazing! It was an easy hike, total time on ice about over an hour. Guide was very knowledgeable, let us have picture stops at several points during the hike. It was my first time being so close to the glacier, crevices, sink holes. Total hike was about 3 hours. A little surprise at the end of hike: whisky with glacial ice (or water if you prefer) was served at the end.

I really enjoyed mini trekking and seeing the glacier! It would have been nice if the trip was a little shorter. For example, two bathroom breaks I less than 30 minutes was excessive. Also, lunch at the welcome center instead of the Refugio would have been nice. However, I understand they were trying to manage bus and boat schedules.
