À Mariposas de Mindo, vous pourrez observer plus de 1000 espèces de papillons de couleurs variées voler autour de vous.
La réserve forestière de nuages de Mindo Nambillo est l'un des écosystèmes les plus riches en biodiversité d'Équateur. Vous pourrez y explorer des sentiers entourés d'une végétation luxuriante, observer des cascades, des orchidées, des papillons et une grande variété d'oiseaux, notamment des colibris et des espèces endémiques. Son climat humide et ses paysages verdoyants créent un cadre idéal pour profiter de la nature, observer la faune et savourer la tranquillité de la forêt de nuages andine.
Profitez d'une magnifique promenade, en visitant les plus belles cascades connues sous les noms de : « Ondinas », « Guarumos », « Colibríes », « Madre » et « Los Maderos ». Vous pouvez vous baigner dans n'importe laquelle d'entre elles ! Jonathan & Javier were excellent tour guides for Mindo. They guided our family of three for the day as we enjoyed feeding hummingbirds, walking amongst butterflies, hiking in the cloud forest to a beautiful waterfall and visiting Mindo Maya for chocolate making and tasting. Our private Mindo experience was absolutely incredible! Traveling to this wonderful place t connect with nature, the unique butterfly and canoping very safely I recommend doing it. Excellent food variety, the company commits and fulfills making you have an amazing experience your guide and driver 10/10

We did not go to the Mindo Cloud forest as advertised. I had hoped to do the cable car that goes through the canopy but our guide said that at the end, the hike to the waterfalls was strenuous (we're both 71). He took us to an alternative location to see orchids and a small waterfall; however, the gentleman that took us did not speak English and our guide did not accompany us to interpret. On the up side, we very much enjoyed the hummingbird garden and the Yumbo Chocolate Factory. Our original voucher stated water would be provided; it wasn't, although that is a minor thing.
