À votre arrivée à Milford Sound, votre croisière nature de deux heures vous attend à bord de notre bateau partenaire de croisière - le Milford Haven. Nous nous arrêtons dans le magnifique township de Te Anau pour une pause prolongée de 30 minutes. Nous nous arrêtons à un café au bord du lac pour que vous puissiez prendre un café / collation, utiliser la salle de bains et explorer le superbe bord du lac avec vue sur la montagne.
Eglinton Valley offre un contraste étonnant de montagnes couvertes de brousse vertes et indigènes, sur le premier plan des champs de bronzage. Les clients auront la chance d'explorer les longs champs luxuriants. Magnifique à tout moment de l'année.
Cette courte promenade de 2 minutes dans la nature sur des pistes bien formées et des promenades vous mènera aux lacs Mirror tranquilles, la toile de fond des montagnes Earl derrière eux. C'est un défi pour tout photographe voyageur de capturer l'essence des lacs - leur reflet miroir.
Nous nous arrêtons plus loin dans la vallée d'Eglinton à Knobs Flat Camp pour utiliser les salles de bains. Cet arrêt est à environ 60mins de Te Anau, notre précédente pause salle de bain.
Nous nous arrêtons au Hollyford Lookout, assis au-dessus de la vallée de Hollyford. Ici, vous pourrez apprécier les glaciers qui ont creusé ces vallées. Une séance de photos et une chance de se dégourdir les jambes.
Monkey Creek est une magnifique cascade alimentée par un glacier et est une zone commune pour rencontrer le Kea, un perroquet de montagne que l'on ne trouve que dans l'île du Sud de la Nouvelle-Zélande. C'est l'occasion de prendre une photo en gros plan de ces oiseaux insolents.
Nous nous arrêtons juste à l'extérieur du tunnel Homère sur le côté ouest, surplombant la magnifique vallée de Cleddau. Entouré par des parois verticales de montagne, vous regarderez en bas de la vallée jusqu'à notre route dans Milford Sound. Un des moments forts de la journée.
Notre destination pour la visite est le magnifique Milford Sound, un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Nous passons 2,5 heures à Milford Sound, principalement à bord de votre croisière dans la nature où vous découvrirez le fjord entier, les rencontres avec la faune, les cascades et toute la beauté pittoresque qu'il y a à voir.
Nous retournons à Queenstown, par le township de Te Anau (le seul chemin de retour) et nous arrêtons pour que vous puissiez prendre de la nourriture pour le dîner et utiliser la salle de bain.

Tommy was our tour guide on our first-ever trip with Luxe Tours from Queenstown to Milford Sound, and he made the whole experience unforgettable. The tour was absolutely worth the cost, and we’d love to do it again in the future. Tommy was friendly, approachable, and made the day feel relaxed from start to finish. Although it was a long day, we never felt bored or exhausted - it has been one of my highlight trips of all time. Tommy took heaps of photos for our group, shared great knowledge and stories about Milford Sound and the stops along the way, and even gave us some awesome local recommendations for our return back to Queenstown. The bus was super comfortable with plenty of leg room, and we appreciated being able to relax and even get some sleep on the drive back to Queenstown. One of the best parts was the small group size — only six people — which made the experience feel much more personal compared to the larger tour buses around. We highly recommend Luxe Tours to anyone visiting Queenstown and wanting to experience Milford Sound. Amazing service, comfort, and overall experience - we’d definitely book again.

having less people compared to a tour buses meant the entire experience was very comfortable (we had time to truly enjoy each site and take photos without being rushed etc). the whole day just felt comfortablr and well organised. the guide tommy was also very friendly and his commentary about the sites etc the entire day while driving was genuinely so interesting and informative. would highly recommend

We recently did this tour from Queenstown to Milford Sound and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The scenery was incredible, but the real highlight of the trip was our tour guide, Adrian. Adrian, was friendly, highly informative, funny, and just an all-round legend. He made the whole journey enjoyable from start to finish and really added so much to the experience with his knowledge and personality. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. The smaller sized group made it possible to stop at different locations along the way which made it much more personal. We highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.

OMG! Where do I start? First of all to apologise it’s taken me so long to write a review - certainly not because the service wasn’t amazing!! I cannot praise and thank Adrian enough. There is nothing I can write to describe how amazing our trip to Milford sound really was; one of the best days and our favourite part of our trip to NZ. And that was all thanks to Adrian. We couldn’t have been luckier to have such a lovely, kind, thoughtful, funny, entertaining and truly wonderful guide. Adrian went above and beyond for us - with the entertaining and informative info and stories he had, the way he checked in with us to see if we were enjoying ourselves or if we needed anything, the way he never once complained about being asked to take a thousand photos for me, and the way he just made our tour absolutely amazing. It snowed on our trip and I have to praise him also for his careful and responsible driving - we felt extremely safe with him. It was such a long day, but we didn’t want it to end and would have been very happy to stay on the bus for longer 😊 Honestly, this day made our NZ trip amazing. I’m so happy I chose to go with Luxe tours. I loved the way they seemed to genuinely care about the place and their customers, and I was so right! What an amazing day touring Milford Sound! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking - stunning mountains everywhere you looked, beautiful waterfalls cascading down the cliffs, and views that felt like something out of a movie. What a wonderful experience! All starts with our awesome driver/guide, Tommy. Very knowledgeable and friendly person. He took care of every detail and made sure we were always save and comfortable. The road trip portion is full of incredible sites and navigating across the fiord is as magic and it Sounds. I would take this tour again without hesitation.
