It was exactly as advertised. On time. Guide was knowledgeable, kind and covered all the key elements of the Duomo. Great tour. Thank you!

200 steps to ascend and descend but well worth the effort. Secure access. Men and women must have knees and shoulders covered in cathedral, so pants and shirt with sleeves are easy options.

Our tour guide was great, she knew so much about the Duomo and its history and was able to answer all questions.

Very poor experience overall. Our female guide was very inattentive and lost 5 people over the course of the tour. Over half the group eventually left early, myself included. She spoke softly and moved quickly from spot to spot without announcing that we were moving on, so people had a lot of difficulty keeping up in the crowds. She seemed quite irritable with the elderly folks who had difficulty navigating the stairs on the roof and asked to take the elevator down. The 'skip the line' advertisement was also false, as we waited in multiple lines for over half an hour before we were able to get to the elevator (she claimed the line was 'other tour groups which were also skipping the line', but that's just...a regular line.) Only giving 2 stars because she did share some interesting tidbits of history, but that should be the bare minimum in a tour like this. This one wasn't worth the money or time.

Our guide was wonderful, very knowledgable, funny and charming. The crowds are such that the audio tour is often hard to hear, and it is a bit of a cattle call. We did have to wait in line a bit for the elevators but no more than 5 minutes.

Incredible views and amazing detail in the architecture. Tour guide, Giada (Gade), was so articulate and patient and kind. Be ready to climb stairs. Wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing (light for summer, shoulders covered). Bring water, bags get checked.

Great tour if you are interested in seeing the Duomo from the top and inside. Our guide, Silvie was fantastic and did a great job herding all the people. I really enjoyed all of her knowledge and seeing the city from the top. The inside is a must see and book the earlier tour to avoid long lines and crowds. I definitely recommend.

I was 5 minutes late and the operator said they couldn’t even give me my full day valid ticket. They wouldn’t even come down to get me. I don’t control the traffic. They are also refusing to refund. The cathedral folks don’t recognize this operator. This is a scam and not official .. their bar code cannot be read by the cathedral.
