Milan : Billet coupe-file pour la dernière soupe et visite guidée

Description

Memento Italy In Style was able to secure us a last minute tour of the Last Supper when another operator canceled our tour. Our guide Alessandro was so nice and knowledgable. The whole experience was great, from the very responsive people I was emailing to Alessandro's excellent commentary. They delivered above and beyond our expectations.
Well worth it - must see. Marco did an excellent job of recounting the history.
It was a very big group with one guide whose explanation was not especially insightful. Most unfortunately, the security person we had at the Last Supper Museum who scanned tickets was one of the rudest people I’ve ever seen in my entire life. He was blatantly angry at every single tourist and made very unpleasant hand gestures. He made sure that we felt unwelcome. Our guide did not explain how or why one filmsy tiny ticket needs to be scanned so many times at so many different checkpoints, and she went into the museum first, leaving the large group of tourists not having tickets ready for yet another check at a loss, and at the mercy of very disrespectful security staff. This really cast shadow on the experience, which was £100+ per person. The ticket check process was ill designed. And it was a shock that the security staff displayed such dislike towards global tourists right before they were going to see the wonderful work, and the guide did nothing to communicate with either the staff or the tourists to make the process a bit more tolerable. I entered the museum feeling disrespected and discriminated against. It felt like my effort (financial or time wise) put into seeing this great work was not appreciated at all by people who work at or around the museum. The art was amazing, but not worth going through an expensive round of personal belittlement in order to see.
Hello, you posted your review to the wrong company. The security workers of the museum & museum guards / ticket procedures / ticket office procedures, etc are NOT part of our our company, you should address your concerns directly to the Last Supper museum, which is a public government-owned museum of Milan. We only provide our guide (professional art historian who provided you a meaningful insight about the Last Supper) and the skip-the-line tickets. Please consider in the future to post your negative reviews to the right companies, instead of blaming people who organized your tour but had nothing to do with what you are complaining about and we have no responsibility / possibility to change these things. If you submitted your opinion to the right place, it could make difference - otherwise this is a totally useless and wrong review posted in a wrong place. Best regards, Memento Italy
Our guide, Marco, was very knowledgeable and provided valuable insight into the history of the Da Vinci painting.
Only booked this because tickets to see the painting were sold out for a month and we didn't want to leave milan without seeing it. Tour guide was very knowledgeable but honestly this didn't need to be dragged out. Meeting time was 40 minutes prior to actually seeing the Last Supper and we couldn't go into the church because of mass so we got an outside tour which could have been condensed into 10 minutes. Ended up leaving the tour right after we got through the Last Supper painting which was the whole point of being there. All in all I would say plan ahead and buy tickets online for 15 euros rather than this. We paid an insane amount and would not recommend doing this. This can be done on your own, a tour guide is not necessary.
Hello, honestly we do not understand your review - you praise the guide but complain that the ticket costs 15€. Nobody forced you to buy the tour - we organize the guided tour for people who wish to get an extra with a professionally licensed guide, a local art historian, to get a deeper understanding about the Last Supper. During the tour, before entering the Last Supper, you visited the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, the square, the Bramante's Cloyers, you got a very insightful introduction about the Last Supper and finally went inside to see it. This is what the guided tour is about. There is not point to book the tour if you actually just want to tick the box to enter the museum to make a selfie with the Last Supper painting - sorry, this is not what we organize. Our tours provide deep insight into the meaning of Last Supper painting, its context in modern culture & art, and in Milan & Italy history. If you are not interested in it, this is not a valid reason to put 2 stars about our tour; and we say this honestly because you said the guide was great, so we don't understand the whole point of your review. Please, just buy the ticket next time, without the tour, instead of putting negative comments of local professional tour operators who did nothing wrong during your vacation in Milan as a tourist. Best regards, Memento Italy
It’s a good tour and just phenomenal to see this painting. Many historic details shared. Probably the only way to get in to see the painting. Well worth it.
Great visit! Basilica, Cloister and Last Supper room delighted us with interactive explanations from our guide Victor 🤗! A guide speaking slowly perfect English! Visit certainly expensive but wonder is at the rendezvous!!
This is a short visit. As time to view the “Last Supper” is very closely monitored (15 mins). Our guide Marco was very professional and knowledgeable. The tour began on time, a lot of history surrounding the paint and the church was shared before entering the museum. Marco shared many details about the paint an the history behind them. This is a master piece that has truly survived the times. I highly recommend this tour.
Marco was great - very knowledgeable, informative and enthusiastic.
It’s informative and inspiring. Do no go to Milan and miss the last supper! It is well worth the experience!
