Miami: Excursion en bus et bateau Ultimate Sightseeing Combo Tour

Really good trip covering land and inner bay.

I had a terrible experience with Big Dave Tours and would never recommend this company. I arrived at the designated pickup location on time and waited patiently to be helped. While I was standing there, one of the tour guides ushered another group of people in front of me as if I wasn’t even waiting. It was unprofessional and made me feel completely ignored. After checking in, I was given a blue sticker and told that our bus would pick us up outside at 9:00 a.m. Around 9:15 a.m., two shuttle vans arrived, and an entire group of people boarded. Since no double-decker sightseeing bus had arrived, we reasonably assumed these shuttles were taking us to the main bus location. After about 30 minutes of driving, it became obvious something was wrong. We asked the driver if we were on the land-and-water sightseeing tour, and he told us, “No, this is the Everglades tour.” That’s when we realized we had been put on the wrong vehicle. After spending a long time navigating phone menus and automated systems, we finally reached Big Dave Tours customer service. Instead of trying to resolve the mistake, the representative was rude, said there was nothing they could do, refused to help us get back to the original pickup location, and denied us a refund. As a result, we had to pay for a 45-minute Uber ride back to our hotel, missed the tour we had paid for, and received absolutely no assistance or compensation. This entire situation could have been avoided with better organization, clearer communication, and basic customer service. Based on my experience, I would never book with Big Dave Tours again, and I cannot recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and book with a company that takes responsibility when things go wrong.

True the way and all about fun and joy I had with this tour lots of memories and enjoy with this just because you had chosen a Nice and ever green best tours and their trip was so such a good and perfect adventure.

Truly Awful. Started bad and got worse. Collection from a bus that gave no clue it was for us, I mean put a sign in the window or something! I checked previously that I could bring suitcases on board, and was met by a grumpy driver that I had to persuade. When the tour started, the guide seemed to think we were interested in buying real estate, apart from creating sales prices for property that we were in the vicinity of, we learnt nothing. He could have spoken of history, politics, diversity but decided the real estate route was the right way to go. We were then dropped off on a Sunday morning to "look" at the art (graffiti) for 15 minutes before re-boarding. 10 minutes later at 11.30 we're outside a restaurant where we're buying lunch. Finally raced back to board a boat where things got a lot worse. I declined the photo opportunity but was informed it was part of the boarding process. Upon boarding with two heavy suitcases, I was informed I couldnt sit on that floor but had to carry them up the stairs. Once the boat was full, it was hard not to notice, that people were sitting downstairs (so thanks for that) Then our host. Imagine if you can a middle-aged children's tv presenter who's been on the marching powder, and you'll start to get the idea. Music was Spinal Tap level 11, so my ears were ringing. A guide that doesn't know his difference between left and right, so we're looking at a crane where Gloria Estefan lives! Honestly if I could have swum back to shore I would have. Then the audacity to shake people down for tips!! Happy to watch me go up and down stairs with heavy bags and not help but position himself by the exit for tips with his begging jar. Avoid

Tour was amazing! Tour guides were knowledgeable and nice. Tour locations were key. Me and my family really enjoyed the tours.

Excellent service from Big Dave tours. Their staff is funny, engaging, witty, and informative! Definitely recommended if it's your first time in Miami.

This is the excursion not to be missed, to see the essentials of Miami from all angles. Very nice combined tour of a boat tour. We can't do Miami without going through BIG DAVE TOURS. A Professional at your Service on site and in addition Francophone.

They picked us up 45 minutes late and had zero communication letting us know-I thought I had been scammed out of my money. They emphasized masks required on the bus however the driver did not wear one and a number of passengers didn’t wear one. We drove throughout the city for another 45 minutes picking up more passengers while the driver honked and flipped off traffic. Once we finally got to the location we boarded a dirty open top bus that had food wrappers throughout. The tour was ok but the speakers were muffled making it difficult to hear the guide. We only had two stops with very little time to actually see or enjoy the areas. Once the bus tour was done were dropped off to the same area to rush and catch the boat. We didn’t have time to shop or view any of the market. The boat tour was decent however the boat is covered so we didn’t get to enjoy the sunshine and made viewing a bit of a challenge. I did enjoy the boat guide. Once boat tour completed it was another mad dash to catch the bus to take us back. Overall not a good experience and I feel we wasted our last day in Miami on this tour.

The bus was a bit late (5/10min just) because of traffic jams but the assistant on the phone reassured us and we saw that there were people and on the road, but also to pick up at different hotels in the city but it was okay, we were able to discover some shops and restaurant like that for the rest of the trip! After that little setback, it was great! Although the guide speaks only English, we were able to understand most things, but we mostly enjoyed the scenery. And the boat tour even better! It refreshed us but we took all the crumbs again, with the villas of stars and everything was great! If you haven't done so, take this tour you will surely enjoy as much as we do discovering the city that is truly MA-GI-QUE! We'll be back.

Don’t waste your time and money booking on here, all of the tours including this one can be booked downtown at bayside, I suggest you go down there walk around and talk to the People at the kiosk and book what best suits you. This tour bus is horrible the speaker on the top deck is so loud you can’t here the person next to you and can hardly make out what there saying, when they take you to little Havana they stop at a cuban restaurant that has horrible food and service and is way overpriced (don’t fall for the prices on the menu, wait till the check comes they up the prices then don’t speak any English to explain the up charge) read the reviews on Yelp and found out there is deals made with the tour bus drivers and restaurant. (Don’t buy any food or drinks from this place). The best part about the entire excursion was the boat ride but the entire deal was just very odd because this bus pulled back up at bay side to drop us off and get in the back of the line to get on the boat with a huge crowd (that I’m guessing was from other tour busses) but boat ride and narrator was much better and a lot more professional. All in all the only reason I’m giving this a 2 is because of the boat ride at the end but I still strongly encourage you to book you Miami excursion at the bayside kiosks. (And not the one with the green and purple tour bus)
