My wife and I loved this experience. Fede is a generous host who served us an excellent meal. More than the food, Fede was warm engaging and accommodating. The night was cold but he provided heaters and extra coats to keep us warm, all beyond the expected. We can’t say enough about this event and would recommend it to anyone who loves good food, wine and even better company.
Incredible experience with Fede. He brings you through his home to the rooftop terrace and not only tells the story of Argentine Asado but shows you how to do it, and why it is important to Argentina culture. Delicious food, good wine, fun time and fantastic overall experience. Cannot recommend it enough!
We visited Fede's lovely home for a wonderful asado. Fede shared some great insights into the origins and customs of the tradition. We started with some amazing salsa criolla, cured meats, bread, and local wine. We were then taught how to build and maintain the fire and even got to build it ourselves, before receiving a masterclass in making empanadas. Next was the star of the show the grilled meats on the parrilla, all beautifully prepared and simply delicious. We ended the evening with yet more wine and copious amounts of Fernet and cola, rounded off with lovely conversations and stories. We might have only spent a few hours with Fede, but it felt like we had been friends for a long time. A truly memorable experience.
This experience was beyond expectation. Fede welcomed us into his home for a gorgeous rooftop feast. He taught us how to build an Argentinian bbq fire & make hone-made empanadas. Wine , food & conversation was superb. Every person coming to Mendoza needs this experience.
Dinner at Federico's was an amazing experience. Preparing the empanadas and roast with him was a lot of fun. He explained a lot of things and we ate and drank wonderfully. I recommend it 100%. Thanks, Fede.
This was truly the best asado we had while visiting Argentina. Fede taught us how to make empanadas, taught us how to build the fire for the asado, and proceeded to cook up tasty cuts of meat. We truly made it feel like we were just friends over for a wonderful meal.

The asado at Fedes home was a highlight of our trip to Argentina. He was a welcoming host that made you feel at home. The food cooked was delicious and allows you to get an inside look at the Argentina culture. I highly recommend this on your trip and will beat any hotel or restaurant adado cooking experience. It was very useful to get an uber to and from the experience as well

The host is very nice, but it was quite expensive for the evening.. The bread he served was awful, just grocery store bread. The meat was good, but the empanada that I made and my friends were scorched on the bottom. The house needs a lot of work, like paint on the upstairs terrace. Compared to high end restaurants in Mendoza this is not a deal at all. Still it was an enjoyable evening.

As for pricing, it reflects not only the food itself, but also the full experience: a small-group setting, personalized hosting, premium ingredients, unlimited wine, and several hours of dedicated time.
