Excursion en bus : Mojo de Memphis

Description

Fun tour with a very knowledgeable guide and hit the highlights of Memphis. The guide even performed our favorite Memphis related songs along the way!.
The tour was both fun and informative. The guide explained facts about people and places in Memphis and also played the guitar and sang. He was very good. The website would not allow us to sign up for the tour alone. It said that was sold out. So, we had to take the tour and also take a tour of Sun Record studio. That made no sense because the studio tour was at the end of the bus tour. Even though we didn't think we wanted to go to the Sun studio tour it was very good as well.
Worth every penny. Narration and singing were wonderful.
The guide was superb. His knowledge of the history of Memphis, vocals and guitar on songs and personality were outstanding. Sun studio was nice also. They both exceeded my expectations.
One of the best bus tours I have ever been on. Our gude(his mane eacapes me, old age I guess) was informative, humorous and played a mean guitar. I would highly recommend this tour.
Fantastic tour Davy was fabulous the singing and his knowledge was amazing such a fun and educational tour
Really enjoyed the tour especially the guide who narrated and played music .
SO much fun. One of the highlights of our weekend in Memphis. The tour guide was fabulous! Learned so much about Memphis music history.
This was a fun, interactive tour through Memphis full of history, music and entertainment! Cecil was knowledgeable, fun, personable and sharing with his group. We never had a guide that shook like Elvis, killed liked Jerry, and hurt like Johnny! Shout out to Michael (I hope I caught the name right) for driving us through Memphis like we was running late for church and for bringing us back safe with nothing damaged but our vocal cords! Lots of fun! Highly recommend!
I have done this tour before and loved it. I recommended it to my sister & her kids and it turned out really poorly. The rear AC did not work at all and when we questioned whether there was AC at all the tour guide was rude. “It’s summer in Memphis,” was his response. I had cracked open a window and he admonished me for doing so. Turned out the fan was not working in the back where we were sitting and it wasn’t until I expressly told the bus driver at the pit stop at the Overton Park Shell that the bus driver addressed it. Four passengers got off the bus at the Shell and refused to reboard. The tour guide had been rude to them as well. Lastly, after passing the Civil Rights Museum, another passenger had to get off and was sick on the street. The poor woman seemed elderly and overcome with the heat!! Ridiculous. Her companion got off too and stayed with her and we concluded the tour without them. Again I have done this tour and previously had a very good experience. That was in December, however, so we didn’t have AC issues. There should be 1) some kind of checklist where the driver ensures all systems are operational and 2) the tour guide needs to be service minded and not be rude to customers.
