Tenganan, de par sa culture unique Bali Aga, reste fidèle aux traditions, cérémonies et règles d'origine de l'ancien Balinais, ainsi qu'à son agencement et à son architecture de village uniques. Il est connu pour sa musique de gamelan et ses textiles à double ikat. Les habitants de Tenganan Pegringsingan ont été choisis par le dieu Indra pour administrer un territoire conçu selon son plan divin, à savoir un microcosme du monde. Ils ont été chargés d'utiliser tous les moyens pour le garder pur et propre. le concept de pureté et d'intégrité territoriales, corporelles et spirituelles est d'une importance primordiale dans ce village.
Tirta Gangga est un village et un palais de l'est de Bali. Il est connu pour son palais des eaux, propriété de la royauté Karangasem.Tirta Gangga signifie littéralement l'eau du Gange et constitue un site de révérence pour les balinais hindous. Strictement, le nom fait référence au palais des eaux construit ici en 1948 par le Raja de Karangasem, Anak Agung Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. Cependant, il est largement utilisé pour désigner la zone générale qui comprend le palais de l'eau et les zones rurales luxuriantes environnantes.Le principal attrait de cette zone est le palais de l'eau de Tirta Gangga, un labyrinthe de bassins et de fontaines entourés d'une sculptures de jardin et de pierre et statues.
Temple Pura Penataran Agung Lempuyang où vous verrez la porte du ciel. Il faut environ 2,5 heures de route pour rejoindre cet endroit depuis votre hôtel. Ce temple est situé sur le versant du mont Lempuyang, à 1 175 mètres d'altitude. C’est ainsi que ce temple est devenu l’un des plus hauts de Bali. La porte du paradis au temple de Lempuyang est devenue la première destination touristique en 2018 parce que cet endroit est Instagramable. Le but des touristes vient plus dans ce temple parce qu'ils veulent prendre une photo entre "La porte du ciel".
La plage de sable blanc (Pantai Putih) est située à environ 20 minutes de route au nord de Candi Dasa, sur la côte est de Bali. C’est l’une de ces plages cachées qui fait l’objet d’une mention dans la plupart des guides mais peu de gens se donnent la peine de s’y rendre car c’est un peu long à parcourir. C’est la seule plage de sable blanc de la côte est. La plage est très bonne: large, bonne, mer calme la plupart du temps et peu de gens ici. Il y a de rares coraux et poissons tropicaux qui nagent dans la mer. Sur la plage, vous trouverez des dizaines de cafés dans lesquels vous pourrez vous rafraîchir. Des clients peuvent y trouver des chaises longues sans frais supplémentaires. À proximité de la plage, il n'y a pas d'abri, mais pour des vacances à la plage, cela convient parfaitement.

The driver for the tour did not turn up and we were forced to cancel the booking - we made several attempts to contact the company and even had reception call them. We waited for over 1/2hr before we cancelled. The number rang out and we received an invalid number message. We never heard back from them. It’s been 2 days since at the time of writing this review. Dodgy.
We’ll, what to say… Unfortunately we can not agree to all the 5 star reviews here because an intentional thing why we have decided to book exactly this tour was missing - a Guide who make this tour to an experience filled with information to the sights we have visited. We already had a tour in Ubud that has been sold to us as a guided tour but was a overpaid driver that just drove us from sight to sight. In the reviews here we read that this tour was especially operated by a guide. That‘s why we have decided to pay more money to get this extra service. What we got was a driver barely speaking and barely speaking English. Don’t get me wrong, he was very polite and very kind and he stayed calm when we became a bit frustrated about the situation and he offered extra ideas what to visit instead because what also happened was that this tour was offered as a 10 hours full day trip. After not even 4 hours we have been through the program because we decided not to wait 3 hours at heaven gate for one picture in the gate and we decided not to lay on the beach with cloudy weather and slightly drizzling rain. At the end it was a nice day because Putu took us to a local market because I wanted to shop fabrics and afterwards he showed us the Ujung Water Palace, what we would very recommend to see, absolutely nice place and not overcrowded by tourist. For over 2 Mio. Rupiah I expect some more pow pow and wow and not someone who spontaneously jumped in as driver. It would have been ok for us if the organizer would have asked us for another date to conduct this tour by himself. So it was a semi cool experience for us and for Putu.

This tour was simply amazing ! Our driver Wayan was so nice and lovely, he took us to all the different spots that were part of the tour and waited for us patiently while we were visiting the locations. He took us to a beautiful place for lunch and before going to the first spot of our tour he took us to a bee and coffee farm where we got to taste so many different types of teas and coffees. Such a wonderful experience . In the Tenganan ancient village we got a guide who showed us around the village and shared with us their history and traditions , he even invited us to his house to met his family . We then travelled to Tirta Gangga and lempuyang temple . On the way Wayan stopped Inma few beautiful spots to let us take amazing panoramic photos . We finished the trip at the beautiful virgin beach , which you simply can not miss to visit . I highly recommend Wayan as the best guide for this tour , he is a really good driver and we he just made us feel so relaxed and comfortable during the whole trip .

Very well organised from first contact. This was my first solo trip and felt so comfortable with Wayan that I organised another day with him around East Bali. First day trip was to the Rice fields Ubud, Second day was around East Bali, absolutely loved the waterhole we went to (only locals really go there) and it was beautiful Ive added some pics of this place for you to ask Wayan if interested. Will definitaly book with him again such a lovely with loads of knowledge but most of all I felt so safe 😊

Driver Wayan was personable, knowledgeable and very flexible. He took the time to cater to our needs. Would definitely recommend the company. We spent 12 hours together and he made it fun and the time just flew. He was also able to provide insight on other highlights/ info for our trip. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because I felt unprepared re: how much cash to bring for entrance fees and at one point I did not have the correct shoes for an activity. Wayan was able to front us the money however and we paid him back at the end of the tour. But would definitely recommend providing all the little details at time of booking.
