Rejoignez le comte de Thomond pour un magnifique banquet dans ce majestueux château de Bunratty, datant du XVe siècle. Le Earl’s Butler accueille des invités des quatre coins du monde pour célébrer une ère de saveurs irlandaises avec une excellente cuisine, un vin raffiné et de l’hydromel au miel. Lorsque vous arrivez au banquet du château médiéval de Bunratty, un joueur de cornemuse kilt joue un air de bienvenue. Vous monterez les marches du château en passant sur le pont-levis et rejoindrez la «bouchée de l'amitié» offerte par l'une des hôtesses. En entrant dans la Grande Salle resplendissante de tapisseries et de meubles du XVIe siècle, savourez un gobelet de Mead tout en vous mêlant aux Dames du château. L’histoire du château est liée à un Madrigal médiéval. Assistez au couronnement de Earl & Lady avant de descendre au Banquet Hall, où des bancs, des bougies et de longues tables en chêne reflètent le style de banquet de l'époque médiévale. Tout en prenant un somptueux dîner de quatre plats avec des vins fins, délectez-vous des tons de dulcet des Ladies of the Castle, accompagnés de Irish Harp et Fiddle. Le majordome demande l'approbation des seigneurs pour tous les plats qui lui sont apportés. Cependant, un scélérat est révélé qui doit être amené devant le comte qui décide de son destin. Le spectacle de 35 minutes qui suit le dîner est une superbe sélection de chansons irlandaises médiévales et traditionnelles et de musique instrumentale. La soirée dure deux heures et demie.

Truly enjoyed this evening. Great location inside a beautiful castle, the food was very tasty and there was plenty of it. The performers where wonderful especially the violin and harp,
Definitely a great night of fun , good food , wine and entertainment. Loved the authenticity of this 14th century Castle. The overall experience was well worth the price and included access to the early village of Bunratty. The period costumed actors performed throughout our 2 hour banquet and kept us all engaged with lively banter, hillarious interactions with guests and lovely Irish singing and music. The actors also delivered our 4 course meals in a timely manner. Each course was delivered hot and was delicious.
I’ve been to many Renaissance fairs over the years, but this Medieval reenactment was on a completely different level — the most authentic and enjoyable one I’ve ever attended. Truly the highlight of my time here in Ireland. My family and I dressed in full Medieval attire, and not only did we fit right in, we actually got to be part of the show. It was an absolute blast. Even though we arrived about 30 minutes late, the staff went above and beyond. They searched for us after the gates had already closed and still made sure we got inside quickly and comfortably. Their kindness and hospitality made the night even more memorable. If you’re ever in County Clare, I highly recommend the Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet. It’s an experience you won’t forget.
A wonderful night of food and entertainment, well worth doing if visiting Bunratty Castle and can fit it into your schedule.
We had so much fun at the banquet. Definitely a theatrical and unique experience. We drank mead and wine and had plenty of food. Loved meeting other people visiting Ireland as well. Food was soda bread & soup, vegetables, chicken, dessert and coffee or tea at the end. It wasn’t 5-star food, but decent. The actors, singers, musicians are very talented. One of our favorite parts of our trip.
Our evening at Bunratty Castle was great! Everything about the experience was enjoyable; delicious food, delightful entertainment and attentive service. We would definitely recommend this experience!
The medieval banquet was a great experience. The location in the castle and the entertainers all in costume was very authentic. The entertainment was wonderful and the food was really good. I would highly recommend this experience.
Great time. Good food and music. Full evening does not end until eleven o’clock. Count on 70 E for round trip taxi from Limerick.

So much fun! The entire experience was delightful. I loved being greeted by the bagpipe player in full regalia! The costumed characters were professional and welcoming. Their singing was beautiful & the violinist was the perfect accompianament to our feast. I personally loved the mead & bought a bottle at the airport later to bring home. The meal was delicious and I appreciated the vegetarian option. If you have any mobility issues be aware that you will be climbing a lot of ancient stone stairs!
