Conduisez par le Parc du Poblado en direction du centre-ville.
Nous conduirons près de Ciudad del Rio, un nouveau quartier moderne proche de Poblado.
La première étape est dans le centre-ville de Medellin, où vous serez émerveillés par les magnifiques sculptures du maestro Fernando Botero, l'un des sculpteurs les plus renommés du monde. Apportez un bon appareil photo, car vos guides ont tous suivi des cours de photographie et seront ravis de prendre des images parfaites de cartes postales de vous embrassant ces sculptures plus grandes que nature pour vos souvenirs. De là, la visite se poursuit à pied pour ressentir l'atmosphère du centre-ville et découvrir les vieilles églises coloniales, les places, le magnifique palais culturel et bien plus encore.
Nous nous promènerons dans le palais et les clients pourront découvrir l’histoire de ce magnifique bâtiment néo-gothique pendant que votre guide vous aidera à obtenir des photos de bonne qualité.
Promenez-vous dans l'une des premières églises coloniales construites dans la ville. Préparez votre appareil photo pour prendre des photos de l'art et des balcons coloniaux à l'intérieur de l'église.
Nous ferons une petite promenade à l'intérieur du parc pour voir la première statue de Botero donnée à la ville par Fernando Botero, célèbre artiste colombien et invité. Nous y apprendrons l'histoire de ce parc et sa pertinence pour la ville.
Promenez-vous dans cette charmante petite église coloniale et découvrez l'histoire qui se cache derrière.
Ensuite, montez à bord du Metrocable, un système de téléphérique, construit dans le but de réduire le trafic, d’améliorer le transport urbain dans sa globalité et de loger les citoyens, leur permettant ainsi de profiter de la connectivité de leurs barrios respectifs au métro et à d’autres moyens de transport. Ce téléphérique robuste et bien entretenu vous conduira à votre prochaine destination, la bibliothèque Santo Domingo Savio, un édifice moderne offert en partie par le roi d'Espagne. Vous aurez la possibilité de faire une promenade ici pour voir la vraie vie dans une communauté avec votre guide qui connaît bien les gens et le quartier. Enfin, les invités seront déposés à leur hébergement dans le même véhicule confortable où ils ont été recueillis vers midi.

Veronica, our tour guide, was friendly and informative. She showed us a variety of attractions downtown and she took us on a cable ride. We particularly liked the sculptures of Fernando Botero in Botero Plaza. Veronica even helped us make dinner arrangements at the end of the tour. The only issue we had was a lack of air conditioning in the vehicle used for transport. It was a hot day and the car ride became quite uncomfortable at times. Carl and Joe

One of our vans had a flat, so instead of cancelling your tour, we paid more money to subcontract another transport service. Apparently, that guys window in his vehicle wasn't closing all the way to the top, thus the air conditioning was going out through that crack. We were unaware of the slight problem with his window. Nevertheless, Veronica should have informed us immediately and not after your review. She won't be eligible for the quaterly bonus, as we must maintain our level of 5 star excellence. However, she is part of the team so as a team, we all take the hit and apologize for the inconvenience. We just wanted to save your tour from being cancelled. Hi, first off, you were 35 minutes late! Normally we mark you as a no show, for being that late. We didn't even charge you extra for making our guide and driver wait and covered all the sites without cutting anything out. Also, don't forget that you added Arvi Park to your tour! Remember, this was a private tour, not a bus tour. As it is, this is the most inexpensive tour we have. Sorry, we don't work for minimum wage. We do quality tours in fluent English, are licensed, insured and make our guests happy. You can't please everyone, but 99.5 % of our guests appreciate us and love our tours. They are solid and great guests who come here to support our cause for sustainable tourism, not people who come and complain and nickel and dime for every single thing. Anyhow, cheers.
The tour was informative, it was fun to ride the Medellin subway, and the cable car was a unique experience that took you approximately 1000 meters above the city for amazing views. You shoukd be prepared though, Arvi Park is not what mist Europeans or North Americans would call a "park", but rather a conservation area. Overall it was an enjoyable tour.

I loved Commune 13 and the resilience of its people, for me the top 10 of Medellin. It is amazing that the second most dangerous place in Latin America has become a tourist attraction and that all its inhabitants work as a team to make it a fantastically attractive place: urban art, trova, dancing, food and much more are the attractions of this colorful and charming urban space.
