Il s'agit d'une excursion d'une journée spéciale au départ de Moshi, visitez la cascade Materuni qui mesure 90 mètres de haut, promenez-vous entre les caféiers et les bananiers, découvrez la flore et la faune trouvées sur les pentes du mont Kilimandjaro. Au cours de la visite, vous découvrirez la communauté Chagga et son histoire, profiterez de la vue imprenable sur le mont Kilimandjaro, ferez l'expérience de la visite du café des fermes locales et enfin dégusterez une délicieuse cuisine préparée par les mamans locales. je peux vous assurer que cette tournée sera le point culminant de votre voyage en Tanzanie.

Itinéraire
Materuni abrite le peuple Chagga et reste un authentique village tribal. Ce charmant village se trouve à seulement 13 km de la ville de Moshi et à la frontière du parc national du Kilimandjaro. Nous vous rencontrerons à une heure convenue au bureau du village de Materuni. Vous visiterez d’abord la cascade de Materuni, située à environ 40 minutes à pied. En chemin, votre guide vous informera sur la culture du peuple Chagga, la vie du village, et vous expliquera la flore et la faune environnantes. Les vues sont vraiment à couper le souffle et, avec un peu de chance, vous verrez le sommet du Kilimandjaro. Lorsque vous atteindrez la cascade, vous verrez qu’elle fait plus de 80 mètres de hauteur. La piscine au pied de la cascade est un endroit invitant pour une baignade rafraîchissante alors n'oubliez pas votre maillot de bain !
Visite du café Ici, vous apprendrez comment le café est cultivé, séché, torréfié et transformé. Vous serez également invités à participer à la mouture du café, traditionnellement accompagnée de chants et de danses Chagga ! C'est une façon amusante et unique de s'immerger dans la culture locale ! Avant de vous dire au revoir, vous pourrez savourer le café que vous avez préparé tout en appréciant la vue sur la forêt tropicale montagnarde environnante.

Sephania was our personal guide for the waterfall tour. He was amazing and explained everything about the village and the culture. He also guided us in the traditional coffee preparation, which was fantastic! We also sang and danced all together! Highly recommended

It was an incredible, captivating experience. My guide, Anold, explained and showed me all the plants used by the tribe in detail. We found several magnificent chameleons. My dietary needs were also carefully considered. The coffee plantation tour was a dream come true. Thank you so much 🙏🏼🥹 P. S. When it rains, it gets very muddy, so it's best to bring extra shoes and a raincoat ☺️
Materuni Village Experience is situated in the most beautiful setting. It really took my breath away as I rounded the corner into the compound. I felt like I could live in this corner of the world forever! Lunch was delicious and with a wonderful view, and coffee making with the locals was great fun - it was certainly very satisfying to drink my own tasty handmade coffee! My guide for the experience was Aviti. After lunch, he took me on a short hike through the village to the waterfalls (a must see!), regaling me with stories about life in the village and patiently answering my endless questions about the vegetation and landscapes. Aviti was earnest and full of life, eager to show me his country, and it was one of the most informative and enjoyable conversations I’ve had in Tanzania. He even took the initiative to adjust our return route slightly so he could show me some of the things we had spoken about. I highly recommend him for a value-added experience!
