Excursion d'une journée dans la réserve nationale de Masai Mara au départ de Nairobi.

pickup was flawless, driver was great— 4 hours to get there was a long time but Dismus offered good information and friendly conversation along the way. At the Mara, my driver and guide, Simon and Julius, were just first-rate. They clearly know the park and the animals’ habits very well. I noticed other cars following ours several times. Julius could see for miles and found everying thing i wanted to see. Plus it was so cool to travel with Masai people wearing their cultural clothing.

I booked this excursion less than 24hours from the start time and everything was seamless. I was at first concerned that my hotel in Nairobi wasn’t in the pick up area but once contacting the tour operator Carluxe directly even after hours (around 1800hrs in the evening) they responded quickly and confirmed my hotel was in fact in the pick up area. The booking says 5am but Douglas confirmed 4am the next morning would be better to get more time at the Masai Mara reserve and he was right. Douglas arrived right on time at 4am and we had a wonderful drive to the reserve. Douglas is a wonderful, safe, and tactical driver even handling extreme traffic and lots of trucks. We arrived to the national reserve earlier than I expected. Douglas is very knowledgeable about Kenya, about it’s animals, about the tribes and is doing a wonderful service in Kenya. His smile is very welcoming, his personality is the best and he is very charming. I felt safe and extremely joyous in his presence. Because of my last minute booking it ended up to be a private safari drive for me which I enjoyed very much. I felt like I was in the company of big brothers, with Douglas, and the two Masai guides Keem and Moses. They were all so amazing and kind and knowledgeable and wanted to ensure I got to see all the animals Masai Mara had to offer. I was very lucky to be able to see 4 of the Big Five in one day because of their diligence, knowledge, and commitment. Douglas made sure my ride back was very comfortable and I felt guilty I slept most of the 4 hours while he has to drive in the extreme traffic but he was very kind and supportive about it. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience and Douglas. I would recommend 1000% over.

Caraluxe tours and safaris and our guide Calvin made our trip unforgettable experience. The trip was meticulously prepared and great service offered by this guys. Our holiday started in masai mara for three days and 2 days in amboseli. It was incredible. We had one day to spend in Nairobi before flying back. We decided to book for olpejeta conservancy to see the rhinos since we missed them in the two parks. Thanks Douglas for proposing this trip. The views were great and we were able to see the big 5 just in few hours. I recommend this tour to everyone in Nairobi who want see the endangered species of rhinos.

This was such an excellent reserve.plenty of wildlife to see and the landscape was excellent with well infrastructure set up.Our guide Douglas was so knowledgeable and tracked some lions for us to see in the middle of the day! A great place to make great memories!

I recently booked a tour with Caraluxe tours and safari to visit the Öl Pejeta Conservancy Rhino and Chimpanzee Sanctuary. I must say that the entire trip was extremely well organised and I had a wonderful time exploring the conservancy and getting up close with the animals. Our driver guide, Douglas, was simply amazing. He was not just knowledgeable about the animals and the conservancy, but also very friendly and approachable. He made sure that we were comfortable throughout the journey and provided us with ample information about the various animals and their habitats. The conservancy itself was breathtaking. We got to witness some of the most incredible wildlife sightings, including the majestic rhinos and playful chimpanzees. The conservancy is very well maintained and the staff are extremely passionate about their work. Overall, I would highly recommend Caraluxe tours and safari for their exceptional service and attention to detail. I will definitely be booking with them again for my future trips to the Kenyan wildlife parks and conservancies. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the sweet waters Serena camp and olpejeta conservancy. We ride horse while viewing the two endangered rhinos(northern white rhinos). Our driver Felix and guide Douglas were both friendly and knowledgeable. Driving was smooth which made us feel safe. Of all the tours we did in kenya this was really the best and many thanks goes to caraluxe safaris for arranging this for us and making the trip so memorable.

I can't rate olpejeta and our guide Douglas highly enough. The conservancy is beautiful with great scenery of the animals. I and my wife did go to this park on a one day trip from Nairobi and Douglas from caraluxe tours and safaris was our guide. He's super to start with and has alot of knowledge on kenyan wildlife. We felt safe and for sure learnt alot and even made the journey seem shorter although its 3h 30min drive from Nairobi. We saw the two endangered rhinos and plenty of other beautiful wildlife. This is a must do again once in the country.
