I had a wonderful experience with Yassine in Marrakech. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He explained the history and culture of the city in a very interesting and enjoyable way, and he made us feel comfortable throughout the entire tour. The visit was well organized and we discovered beautiful places that we probably would not have found on our own. Yassine was always attentive, answered all our questions and shared many useful recommendations. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Marrakech and wanting to experience the city from a local perspective. Thank you, Yassine, for making our trip even more special!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It truly means the world to me to know that I could help make your Marrakech visit memorable. My goal is always to share the heart of this vibrant city—its hidden gems, rich history, and warm culture—just as a local friend would. I'm thrilled you enjoyed the stories, the organization, and the recommendations. It was an absolute pleasure guiding you, and I hope our paths cross again someday. Shukran bezaf! (Thank you very much!) Safe travels 🙏.
We took this tour in Marrakech, and Yassine did an outstanding job. He provided fascinating insights while guiding us through the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Medina. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor that made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a well-organized half-day introduction to Marrakech. It was a highlight of our visit and a great way to experience the city’s history and culture.
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience! As a tour guide myself, I can say that feedback like yours truly highlights what we aim for: a well-organized, engaging, and culturally immersive introduction to this incredible city. Your recommendation means a lot, and I’m sure future travelers will feel confident booking this experience after reading your kind words. If you ever return to Morocco, there’s so much more to explore. Wishing you many more memorable journeys ahead!
Yassine did a great job sharing interesting information about the Bahia Palace and the Saddian Tombs as well as the medina/souks. He was flexible with taking us to the Secret Gardens since the lines were too long for the tombs. Overall a wonderful experience. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m thrilled to hear that you had such a great time with Yassine.
My husband and I did this tour with Yassine in March. He was a great tour guide - it was light and fun but also very informative. A very enjoyable way to explore the city. 5-stars, excellent! I highly recommend.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m thrilled to hear that you had such a great time with Yassine.
You will see 3 of the main places in old Marrakech. Our guide was very informative, and amusing and made sure no-one in the group got separated. The only downside was at the meeting point. There were at least 7 other groups so a lot of people. None of the guides had heard of ours nor the company until 1 gave us a name but said that guide wasn't there. Eventually a guide appeared who also said he didn't recognise the company name but, after checking our name, he realised we were on his list. We could very easily have been left behind.
Thank you for sharing that honest feedback, and I’m really sorry to hear about the confusion at the meeting point. To clarify for future guests: the issue you experienced was entirely at the central meeting zone in Jemaa el-Fnaa or near the Café France area, which is a known hub for many tour operators. Unfortunately, on busy days, multiple companies overlap there, and communication between freelance guides and agencies isn’t always seamless.
Great way to see major sites, helpful commentary from our guide
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m thrilled to hear that you had such a great time.
Yassine was very informed and courteous. He adjusted his tour to everyone’s needs in the group and was engaging and helpful. The tour was approx 4 hours.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback! I’m really glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour with Yassine.
Highly recommended 3 hour walking tour covering the Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs and a wander round the souks. Yassine was a great guide with lots of information about the city, the sights and anything else you want to know about life in Morocco. All delivered in a fun and engaging way too. As a first time visitor to the city, this was also a great introduction to the layout of the medina.
Thank you for sharing this fantastic review! I'm thrilled to hear you had such a great experience with Yassine.
Yassine was a brilliant guide, we really enjoyed our tour! He was funny and kept us well engaged throughout. We really enjoyed the information whilst in the palace, however his local insights whilst walking through the Medina were most interesting. We took the tour on our first day and it set up our trip amazingly. Thanks Yassine!
Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you had such a memorable tour with Yassine.
Amazing tour around the streets of Marrakech and including some of the main sights! Our guide was very funny and knowledgeable. He also showed us some of his favourite restaurants after the tour ended which was very nice. The tour was just over 4 hours but some people left mid tour to get some food and our guide went to find them and bring them back to the tour while we were shown argon oil production! We would highly recommend!
Thank you so much for these incredibly kind words. I wish you all the very best on your travels
