Excursion d'une journée à Marrakech au départ d'Agadir

The pickup was about 30 min late right from the start (without any information), and we lost hope that the tour would even take place. Then a huge tour bus finally arrived, which ultimately also became completely full (i.e., approx. 50 people, instead of the max. promised in the description. 10 people !). When we picked up the last guests at a hotel, there was a delay of around 15 min. The drive to Marrakesh was okay; the guide provided interesting information. Then a bathroom break followed; all in all, we therefore arrived with over 1 hour (!!) delay in Marrakesh. After getting off, I asked the guide where a restroom was - he pointed to a cafe on the other side of the street. After we returned from the restroom, the entire group, including the guide, was simply gone, WITHOUT having said a word beforehand! I then became panicked, as there are a lot of people out and about in Marrakech & I feared that we would not find our group again. My partner wrote to the contact person from whom he had the number on WhatsApp & asked where the group was. In poor English, the grumpy response or accusation came back that we should have told the guide that we were going to the bathroom. Sorry, but what does the guide think I am going to do when I ask where a bathroom is? Anyway, we finally got the number of the guide himself, my partner called him - he informed him again that we were at the bathroom & asked where he was with the group. The response from the guide was literally: "there is no time for a bathroom break, the meeting point is at 5:20 PM" & he simply hung up.. my partner called again, asked once more & gave him the idea that he should simply share his location with us on WhatsApp. This was then done, however, we spent about 30 minutes rushing after the group & thus missed about half of the "guided" tour. When we had finally caught up with the group, we visited a pharmacy/drugstore that was not even on the plan and were given various products to test. After that, we were rushed to a nearby restaurant. From there, our free time began. During our free time, we finally had the opportunity to look at everything IN PEACE. Conclusion: this tour was an absolute disgrace! The time in Marrakech was simply cut short without comment due to the delay (instead of the promised 6.5 hours, there were only barely 5 hours), the guide just rushed the group through everywhere without stopping anywhere so that one could buy something at the market (we learned this from others, since we missed almost the entire "tour"!), led us simply somewhere that was not even planned in the program, but instead not to places that should have actually been part of the program! On top of that, his manner, or rather his behavior and choice of words toward us, were an absolute disgrace! We ultimately cannot recommend the tour at all; if I could give 0 stars, I would do it!

such an amazing city, beautiful souks and mosques, tiny streets and so much more. when i get the chance ill definitely be coming back to marrakech.

The tour guide was very informative and catered to everyone’s language. It was a very hot day, but he managed to keep us in the shade as much as possible. Marrakech is beautiful.

Brilliant day brilliant tour guide

Great tour bus fully air-conditioned, which is needed when you cross the dessert in July. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke several languages well. The one thing that was not great is that the tour guide jumps on the bus half way from Agadir to Marrakech. And he gets off it at the same point on the way back. This means that for pickup and drop off you are left with a driver that does not speak any other language than Arabic. Kind fellow, but a challenging experience to get off on the right spot when he cannot explain to you that you are supposed to get on another van that will take you the last mile to your hotel.

Was a great experience. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared on how not to be fleeced in the square. Coach was comfortable. Pick up and drop off were smooth and uneventful. Driving through and seeing the Atlas Mountains was awe inspiring. The Souk is a labyrinth... really pleased we had a guide🙏🏿. Be ready to barter strongly if you want to buy anything in the Souk. A visit to the Bahia palace is worth it. Note you cannot pay for entry tickets by card (cash only). So make sure you have cash at the ready. Overall if you make the effort to learn some Arabic and French words/phrases the locals will appreciate it. Choukran- thank you Ps:it's very hot was 42°C maximum on the day🥵. Make sure you definitely take sunscreen👌🏾

Overall, a solid tour. The transfer went smoothly and well, even though the pickup time was changed at short notice from 7:30 AM to 7:50 AM. Somewhat disappointing was that according to the booking information, a maximum of 10 people were supposed to participate; however, we were actually traveling in a coach with around 50 people. For this reason, the guide was often busy keeping the large group together in the narrow alleys. The tour was also conducted in German, French, and English, which made the explanations somewhat superficial, but this can ultimately also be attributed to the large group size. It is worth noting that the guide visibly made an effort and all important program points were included. Additionally, after lunch, there were still two hours of free time during which one could explore the city on their own.

Our guide was amazing, very hot so take suncream. Make sure you know how to haggle and beware of some of the traders majorly over charging. Out tour guide was sooooo nice and friendly. The restaurant we was taken too was a lovely roof top one. Keep an eye out for the people putting animals like moneys on you they will try and get a lot of money off you but only pay 10-20 dirham. All in all though it was an excellent day out.
