Couldn't have been any better. Our guide Danny was cheerful, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We particularly loved the fact that all the businesses we visited were local family concerns. Highly recommended
Thank you Fiona! And yes, we know it makes a huge difference when visiting authentic local businesses. Those owner-hosted experiences are our most genuine way to show you the REAL Margaret River. I'm very happy to know you enjoyed that special touch!
We had an absolutely wonderful day tour from Perth! We originally booked the "Secret Delights" tour but were generously upgraded to the "Hidden Gems of Margaret River" tour, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. A huge plus was that all fees were completely inclusive in the tour package, so we didn't have to worry about any unexpected costs along the way. The coordination and communication from Ziggy were superb. From the initial booking confirmation all the way through to our final arrival details, Ziggy was incredibly swift, detailed, and professional. They even went above and beyond by arranging to pick us up right at the doorstep of our Airbnb, since we were staying just a 5-minute walk from the standard meeting point. This made the morning start incredibly smooth and stress-free. Our tour guide, Dani, was amazing throughout the entire day. Dani’s deep knowledge of the area's history and the local wineries added so much value to the trip. More than that, Dani was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to my elderly parents, providing a firm stepping stool to aid them safely in and out of the van at every single stop. If you are traveling with older folks, you know how much these small, considerate touches mean for their comfort and peace of mind. My parents thoroughly enjoyed the wine tastings, which were incredibly generous across all three spots. At our first stop, Ashbrook Estate, we tasted 9 different wines. We then moved on to Brown Hill where we tried 6 distinct types, and finished up at Redgate where we were treated to an amazing lineup of 16 different wines! The pace of the whole day was perfect—never felt rushed, the Italian lunch was delicious, and feeding the emus was a fun, unique highlight. If you are visiting Perth for a short duration but want to experience the absolute best of the Margaret River wineries without the stress of planning, I highly recommend booking this. It is a fantastic, worry-free option for families with older folks, or even just as a quick weekend getaway if you are working in the city and need a seamless break. Thank you, Ziggy and Dani, for making our family day out so special and memorable!
From the time Dani picked us up at our accommodation we had an extremely enjoyable day of feeding animals, tasting wine and chocolate and a yummy lunch at an olive farm. Dani is a fantastic guide with a lot of local knowledge. I highly recommend this tour company.
Dani is a legend, I agree! Thank you for sharing!!
Absolutely brilliant day. Tour guides are very informative and make everyone feel welcome and included. Everything ran like clockwork from beginning to end.
Thank you very much for sharing this Lorena! Most important thing is that you enjoyed a flgreat experience with us. But your words also reinforce that our efforts behind the scenes show meaningful results. Again, thank you!
If you are seeking a well-guided tour of the highlights of Margaret River, Ziggy is the best. Our small group of six were delighted to have visited coffee tasting before heading to selected wineries for further surprises. Ziggy's knowledge of the area and his friendly contacts made for a memorable day.
Stop it Arthur!! Hahaha I love my job and it doesn't seem like work when I'm on tour, that's true. But huge credits to our local friends who host us, treat us so well, and are so good at what they do!
We had the best day ever. Ziggy made the day. His knowledge and experience about wine was impressive. There was no question too hard or silly. We had a small group of 10 ppl, we visited wineries, coffee tastings, and a chocolate shop. With a tasty Italian lunch. Excellent day highly recommended.
Best ever, wow!!! That's a big statement, I'm super thrilled to read it, and more than happy to know you enjoyed it that much. Cheers Garry!
Ziggy, thankyou for a truly enjoyable day. Your knowledge and great sense of humour made for a fantastic day. Great choice of vineyards, restaurant and chocolate factory. Thankyou ( Mirco + Karon)
You're very welcome Mirco! And thanks in return, because it was a super fun day for me too!! Sometimes I simply can't believe that I enjoy my job so much!!!
This was a very well organised and informative experience. Ziggy the host was clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about the local area and it's produce. The wineries we visited were very attentive and we tasted a wide range of local small batch white, red and desert wines of a high quality which were available to purchase. Lunch was excellent as was the ambiance and friendliness amoungst the group of 7 participants. We also went to a coffee roasters and chocolate producer. Everything went smoothly and was a very enjoyable and value for money day out.
So good to read this, thank you very much! And what a nice touch it was to add that chocolate stop hey!!
Ziggy was a fabulous guide. The stops were a blast! You could tell he knew all the best local spots and is well connected with the local businesses.
I feel flattered! Credits go to the wonderful friends I have in Margs and their crafts
We had a fun day with a small group of people interested in learning more about Margaret River area. Our tour leader, and very good driver, was knowledgeable and happily shared lots of information about local biodiversity, wine and vineyards, climate. We tasted yummy chocolate, coffee, olive oils and wine, and talked to emus and llamas. A highly recommended, well-organised tour.
A bit of everything makes it a lot of Margaret River, with true depth into our region. I love to hear this kind of feedback, it means a lot to us! Thanks for your words Sharon!
