Pendant deux heures inoubliables, vous serez invité à participer activement au réglage des voiles, à ressentir la puissance du vent alors que le moteur est réduit au silence et que le navire glisse en silence sur l'eau. Que vous choisissiez de vous détendre et de vous imprégner des paysages époustouflants ou d'apprendre les ficelles directement auprès de notre équipage expert, d'aider avec les lignes ou même de prendre la barre, cette voile du soir offre une expérience de navigation vraiment authentique et engageante pas comme les autres.

Embarquez pour une aventure nautique relaxante et instructive sur les eaux immaculées de la basse baie West Grand Traverse ! Cette croisière panoramique offre une vue imprenable sur le front de mer de Traverse City, y compris des monuments emblématiques comme l'hôtel historique Park Place et l'Académie maritime des Grands Lacs, qui abrite l'impressionnant navire-école de 224 pieds, État du Michigan. Fabulous experience! It was wonderful to watch the sails come to life under the hands of passengers. I learned a ton about the boat, the water and the area we saw. The crew was so personable. I definitely recommend this schooner experience.

Evening sail is closer to 90 minutes versus the 2 hours listed. Staff were all friendly and helpful. It was nice to actually sail, but a little disappointed that the sail boat had no speed and the scenery never really changed. We left the dock and went for about 45 minutes into the middle of the lake and turned around and came back. I was hoping to see more along the shore.

Be sure to put this on your list of things to do while in Traverse City! The sailing team was so welcoming, and easy to visit with! We wanted to go on a sunset cruise (not really offered in the area), but ended up on an evening cruise around Traverse Bay. The Manitou is a tall ship, a schooner. It was wonderful. We felt like we travelled backwards in time. I loved having a beer and watching the sails over my head and the water all around me. My wife said it was “So relaxing.”
