The tour was excellent. John our tour guide because of the excessive heat allowed us to be flexible with the tour schedule. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Even in the museum he went thru many areas with meticulate details. Content of the tour was excellent also.
Wasn’t the tour advertised. Only an Intramuros walking tour. No city sites like Makiti, Nelson Tower and American Cemetery were visited. Guide was surprised when shown the scope of the trip on our phone. There was no pickup as was advertised only a meeting spot that was changed the night before. Our guide was knowledgeable of the areas we covered and very helpful in getting us back to our cruise ship. We had hoped to see more of Manila in our limited time there and were very disappointed with the reduced scope of the tour.

Once again, our apologies for this inconvenience, and we hope you will consider giving us a second chance. Warm wishes, Guydeez Team
It’s warm and very humid for Europeans so be aware you will be walking for the Guts of four hours I thoroughly enjoyed the mix of old and new! First time in Manila so I was most grateful for a great day exploring our guide Joem was warm, knowledgeable and an all round great guy and guide! Great singer too! Loved the experience of the tuk tuk in the traffic, really worth doing ……. Thank you Joem!!
Although our guide was a nice person, he was not a good storyteller of old Manila. He arrived at the meeting point 25 minutes late and then was unable to communicate a comprehensive historical picture of old Manila. I would not recommend this tour with Mr Alban to friends or anyone.

Had a delightful experience viewing and learning about several of the important historical parts of Msnila. Our guide Joem did an excellent job. He was knowledgeable and very personable!
Nice tour of old Manila and Chinatown. My guide Jerick and I did a walking tour through old Manila. Unfortunately most of it was destroyed during the war. However most buildings have been reconstructed in the same style as the original ones. One major exception was the church which is a highlight of the tour. Also we did a comprehensive tour of Fort Santiago built by the Spanish. Jerick walked me through the tragic history of events that happened at the fort including the massacre and also the execution of the man who became a national hero. There’s a wonderful and moving series of exhibits on his life and death by execution in the fort. We concluded our tour with a walk through Chinatown, and Jerick noted that Manila’s Chinatown is the oldest Chinatown in the world. It’s a vibrant area and I enjoyed a variety of delicious street food as we strolled around. An enjoyable experience!
Review the stops mentioned in your tour. There is no way to see most of the sites as they are hours away. Walking and with jitney you can only see the sites in the historic center. Our guide Jerick was extremely knowledgeable and great at communicating prior to the visit.
Tour was very informative and at a comfortable pace. Jerick was excellent and went out of his way to get us a taxi when our phones wouldn't work and waited with us for it to arrive.
The term "pick up" made me believe a tour guide would meet us at our hotel with a car and drive us to the sites for the walking tour. In stead, the guide arrived without a car and we had to take a Grab car, then a Jeepnee, then a tuk-tuk.
Hello Christopher, Sorry for the confusion regarding the pickup. We understand how this could have led to different expectations. We’ll review the description to ensure clearer communication in the future. At Guydeez, we strive to create happy memories, and because of this, we will look into this matter further. If you have any concerns, we’ve already reached out to you via email. Our apologies again, and we appreciate your feedback. Warm wishes, Guydeez Team
Joem was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. It was a great half day tour of the local historic sites. We visited the Rizal Park, museum and surrounding area included a jeepney ride too. Well worth it.
