Great time Venis went above and beyond to help experience street food and different areas of Manila that I normally would never go by my self. She made us feel safe and at no point did I ever feel unsafe in any of the areas I was in with her. One of the best tours Ive been on and it authentic because she greaw up in the area. Venus was very knowledgeable about the area. I was the only person on the tour and I was grateful that Venus didn’t cancel it. The food was amazing, I wish I had someone to share it with but it didn’t go to waste because Venus gave the leftovers to local family. The night market was bustling and I wish I had my kitchen because the produce was so temping. The vegetables are not the pale tasteless ones you get in an American supermarket. The mangos were that beautiful yellow color. I’m not a fan of bitter melon but even the bitter melon in the market looked tempting. Be aware of your surroundings. There are workers unloading trucks. There are also workers carrying serval heavy bags of produce weaving around pedestrians in the market. The market workers really made me think of the work that goes into providing food for the table. Wear sensible shoes and bring water. It’s hot, even during the nighttime.

Our tour guide Venus was excellent! She explained the foods at dinner, the landmarks, how the market worked, & provided awesome keepsake photos of our tour! We walked through the living & historic areas. Got to ride in a tuck tuck & a jitney bus. Wear comfortable shoes for paved roads & be aware of your surroundings as the market is busy! Beautiful fruits & vegetables to buy if you have somewhere to keep stored! The meal was plentiful & the leftovers were packed to give to the local children along the route. I am recommending this tour & especially Venus to my colleagues arriving soon to Manila.

Awesome experience. Ate local food at a night market, then walked around the busy fruit/meat/veggie vendors, then visited Chinatown and even saw this new riverside park that was opened. Originally I was the only one who booked so the tour was going to be cancelled, but my guide was very accommodating and friendly and lovely to chat with. She took pictures of me and even gave me recommendations to eat elsewhere for the next day!

This was one of the best times I had in Manila. The market is vibrant and the food was excellent. So many different selections all delicious. Also included was a tuk tuk ride to Chinatown and around the area. Don't miss it!

I had a great tour with Venus. She knows a lot about Manila, and the people living here, and she can tell you a lot about all topocs. We had a delicious street food dinner and afterwards we went to the night market , wet market and Chinatown. And took a tuktuk and a Jeepney. If you want a complete and entertaining experience in 2 hours, book this tour. I recommend it.
