MANCHESTER: Lake District Adventure - Excursion d'une journée

Yesterday’s Lake District tour was an incredible experience! 🏞️✨ Huge shoutout to our amazing driver and guide, Frank. Driving through those narrow valley roads takes real skill, and he handled it so smoothly. On top of that, his rich history sharing along the way made the scenic views even more meaningful. Exceptional service from start to finish! 👍🏻

I have done a lot of tours in Europe: but this is the absolute WORST. I and other users waited for the bus at Manchester airport (I had arrived the night before and had slept at the airport just to start the holiday with this tour). Morality: nobody's coming. Without warning us! Me and the tourists stunned: never happened! Then they wanted to ditch him another day, as if we were comfortable. Bravo! Of course the refund not even the shadow after 1 month. The tour operator "binonaro" blames it on viator, who never responds etc. etc. It is the first and last time I will schedule a tripadvisor tour. I did it this time - the first time in my life - and this is the sad result. I do not recommend you to do it too 100 times better GetyouGuide. Quite a different professionalism. AND GUARANTEED REFUND DO NOT SCHEDULE THIS TOUR. They leave you on your feet and forget your money! Congratulations to the organization. Thank goodness it was cheap - 60 euros- that they happily pocketed. So much for the poor tourists. Sadly "bidonati."

Great introduction to the Lake District. Easy pickup at the airport, and wonderful guide. Just enough free time to eat, shop and explore.

From start to finish, our day trip to the Lake District was nothing short of exceptional — an experience my sister and I will remember for a long time. The natural beauty of the region is breathtaking, but what truly elevated the entire day was the outstanding guidance and warmth of our tour leader, Adrian. Adrian was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the history, geography, and hidden gems of the Lake District, but he also had a natural gift for storytelling. He made every stop come alive with local insight, fun facts, and a great sense of humour that kept everyone engaged throughout the journey. The absolute highlight for us was the scenic walk — perfectly paced and thoughtfully planned. It gave us the opportunity to take in the stunning views, breathe in the fresh countryside air, and enjoy the peacefulness of nature. Adrian ensured everyone felt comfortable and safe while still giving us the freedom to explore and soak up the surroundings. Beyond the logistics, what really stood out was Adrian’s passion for the area and his genuine care for everyone in the group. He struck the perfect balance between being professional, personable, and truly enthusiastic. You could tell he wanted each of us to have a meaningful and enjoyable experience — and he absolutely delivered. Thank you, Adrian, for making this trip so special. My sister and I had an amazing time and we’re incredibly grateful for your thoughtful leadership. We laughed, learned, walked, and took home some wonderful memories. We can’t wait to return — and we’ll be hoping you’re our guide again!

Very exciting experience! Wonderful places, the guide mr. Lee was very nice and kind. He drove very well along very strictly streets. Very beautiful the tales of Beatrix Potter heard during the travel ! Grasmere wonderful with Wordsworth's grave and house.

Lee did a great job and was a fun guide! Fantastic tour and beautiful sites! The boat ride was a great addition.

This was a full day of fun. Our guide, Lee, made the trip. Places we visited were beautiful, the guide was knowledgeable and an excellent driver.

Even though the weather was not ideal but Frankie, the person in charge of our tour made it all worthwhile with his lovely character and knowledge the place.

We had an amazing day trip to the Lake District with Lee. He was a wonderful tour guide and great driver. The whole trip was perfectly timed and we learned a lot about the region and its people. Listening to some Beatrix Potter stories and the Daffodils poem was a lovely touch! I would definitely recommend this tour!

The tour was amazing & Frank our guide kept us well informed & entertained. No he did not sing. The trip from Grasmere up to the LANGDALE & Little Switzerland was just breath taking.
