Grace was extremely knowledgeable about the history and folklore of Charleston. She was so kind and respectful of not only her tour group, but others we ran into along the way. It was nice to spend time with someone who had a great personality and truly seemed to enjoy her job!

We had a group of high school grads who wanted to do a ghost tour. This one was perfect. Our tour guide gave us some amazing history mixed well with spooky stories. She did really well with these crazy girls and kept their attention with entire time, which is quite a feat with them. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a great spooky, informative tour.

The tour was fun and the guide did an amazing job! She really brought the stories to life with her knowledge of Charleston, its history and interesting anecdotes. Who knew the first liquor store, during prohibition no less, can still be identified with its “special markings” on the outside. The tour was a lot of fun and I highly recommend!

The tour was great! Our tour guide was personable and knowledgeable. We had an EMF detector that constantly lit up and indicating a presence nearby. This added to the experience. I would highly recommend this tour.
Hello Martin, thanks so much for the awesome feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the tour. That EMF activity definitely adds an extra layer of excitement, glad you got to experience it! 👻 Hope to see you again soon for more adventures!
A fun tour and guide. Knowledgeable about the toured areas, buildings and walks. Modestly challenging walk, but totally doable for the ADA needs. We would’ve remembered any uphills because those hurt. None that we remember. A good time was had from the very beginning, meeting at a bar. CritDicks

Zee was a FABULOUS guide! We had the best time learning about Charleston and its dark history! Highly recommend
Thanks so much for sharing your experience! It’s wonderful to hear that Zee made the tour so fun and informative. We’ll pass your compliments along and look forward to welcoming you back!
Awesome guide. Made sure everyone could hear. Fun facts!! Easy walk through downtown. Only downside is so many other guides and tours on same path. They were a bit loud so distracting. Nobody’s fault but a lot of buildings with scaffolding so tough to see. Graveyard areas super spooky and interesting to learn about. Perry was truly an excellent guide even though he was a buckeye fan. lol. Ps: tour takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes, not an hour.
Hello, Jessica! We’re so glad you had a fun time exploring downtown with Perry! He always aims to make sure everyone can hear and enjoy the stories, and he’ll love hearing your feedback. We appreciate your patience with the busier areas and construction—it’s all part of downtown’s character sometimes! Thanks for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back for another tour!
The location is great. The place is amazing. The only complaint I have is the parking. Because we booked through Vacasa, we were told we could use valet parking. Parking in the garage across the street is $48 a day.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the property and location! We understand the concern about parking costs—especially when expectations weren’t aligned—and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
