Le musée Yves Saint Laurent, ouvert en 2017, présente des collections finement sélectionnées de vêtements et d'accessoires de haute couture qui couvrent 40 ans de travail créatif du légendaire couturier français Yves Saint Laurent. Le bâtiment esthétiquement déformé et tramé ressemble à du tissu tissé et abrite un auditorium de 150 places, une bibliothèque de recherche, une librairie et un café-terrasse servant des collations légères. Le Musée Berbère, inauguré en 2011 sous le Haut Patronage de Sa Majesté Mohammed VI, Roi du Maroc, est installé dans l'ancien atelier de peinture de l'artiste Jacques Majorelle. Il présente un panorama de l'extraordinaire créativité des Berbères (Imazighen).

Il présente un panorama de l'extraordinaire créativité des Berbères (Imazighen), le peuple le plus ancien d'Afrique du Nord. Plus de 600 objets, collectés des montagnes du Rif au Sahara par Pierre Bergé et Yves Saint Laurent, témoignent de la richesse et de la diversité de cette culture vibrante et toujours bien vivante aujourd'hui.

Our driver, Rachid, was punctual and courteous in our voyage to the Majorelle Garden and St. Laurent and Berber Museums. It was easy to coordinate pick up from our villa and he was able to drop us back off after we were finished. Going the extra mile, he even recommended a lunch spot for a part of our group who said they enjoyed their meal! This self-guided tour took about 2 hours, which was just enough time to appreciate the sights and sounds of the Majorelle Garden. and the YSL museum. We went early in the morning so the crowds were not particularly dense.

One day in advance we received a message via Tripadvisor. The Berber Museum was temporarily closed. It was suggested to give extra time for shopping. We didn't go into that. There has been no further compensation for this admission ticket. Communication with the driver was smooth. Appointments for pickup were correct. There was no water in the bus, while this was in the description. Jardin Majorelle was very nice and worth visiting. The YSL museum was previously limited. You'll get through pretty quickly.
