Notre visite gastronomique débutera à Apple Store (Puerta del Sol) à 12h30. Je vais vous accueillir à Madrid et vous expliquer un peu ce que nous allons faire pendant la visite.
Après vous avoir accueilli à la Puerta del Sol, nous irons dans le quartier d'Autrias, ici nous nous arrêterons (selon les jours) à nos premiers arrêts gastronomiques. Vous découvrirez les mêmes lieux où vont les locaux, à la recherche de tapas traditionnelles telles que crevettes à l'ail, bravas, croquettes, chorizo, etc. selon les bars à tapas que vous visiterez le jour même.
Après avoir dégusté des tapas comme d'authentiques locaux, nous revenons à la Puerta del Sol. Ici, je vais vous décrire cette belle place, je vais vous raconter son histoire et quelques symboles qui s'y trouvent.
Au cours de notre visite gastronomique, nous visiterons des lieux emblématiques de la ville, tels que la Calle Mayor, la Plaza Mayor, ici je vais vous donner un bref résumé de l'histoire de la Plaza, la Plaza la plus importante de Madrid.
Après avoir visité la Plaza Mayor, nous entrons dans le Madrid médiéval. Dans ce quartier, nous nous arrêterons à un bar à tapas classique à Madrid. Dans ce bar, selon les jours, nous dégusterons des champignons ou un délicieux sandwich au calmar. Nous passerons aussi par le plus vieux restaurant du monde. Ici, je vais vous raconter une brève histoire du restaurant.
Et pour terminer nous visiterons l'une des plus belles places de Madrid. Plaza de la Villa, ici je vais vous donner un bref résumé de l'histoire de la place et des bâtiments qui s'y trouvent.

It has been a very interesting experience. I have gone with my mother to three tapas bars in the historic center of Madrid, we have tried garlic prawns, bravas, mushrooms etc. Apart from this, the guide has told us about the history of Madrid and Spain. A very complete tour

We had a great introduction to Madrid and tapas with Carmen. We learnt so much and happily chatted with her for the whole tour. Carmen was outstanding. Very engaging and full of information of the city of Madrid and Spain in general. She pointed out the specialties of local food stops (this one is great for garlic prawns, this one for stuffed mushrooms and on and on). She took us at a comfortable pace and we never felt rushed. We had three stops and tried lots of food and had plenty to drink. We were all very full by the time the tour was over. At the end she took us to a convent to tell us about the nuns and the pastries they make so we could go back when the convent opened. We all had a wonderful time and it was a highlight of our stay in Madrid. Thank you Carmen.

Prompt start with Carmen and short walk to first bar - excellent prawns and wine , on to another nearby tapas bar for more tapas and then a walk through the city to our last stop . All good food , sites and information along the way and a good explanation of Spanish history and food . Carmen was knowledgeable and friendly . Great tour

I booked 3 adults for the Tapas and my 8 years old daughter was with me. The tour guide insisted charging me extra 70 euro for my daughter. She just tag along and did not eat or drink.
Hi Kin, I'll answer you again what I told you yesterday: You booked and paid for 3 people and 3 people and an 8-year-old girl showed up without prior notice. The tour is for people over 18 years old (we say this clearly in the description of the activity). Therefore, we always treat everyone as adults, so if you bring your 8-year-old daughter in addition to the 3 of you, your daughter will be charged as one more adult. I don't know where you read that children don't pay anything. The guide did everything possible to solve the problem with great professionalism and respect, at no time were you ignored as you say. Carmen, she's a real professional at her job. It reflects enthusiasm, joy, passion and motivation in what it does, so it conveys it. I have loved the selection of restaurants and at the same time as it tells the history of Madrid and Spain. It has been a real pleasure and I hit the Tapas Tour with it.
