Madère: Lever du soleil au sentier Pico do Arieiro & Hike Larano

Votre aventure commence par une prise en charge à l'hôtel environ 1,5 heure avant le lever du soleil (heure exacte envoyée avant 20h30 la veille par email ou WhatsApp). Habillez-vous chaudement et portez de bonnes chaussures, car le temps en montagne peut différer grandement de Funchal. Au Pico do Arieiro, profitez d'un lever de soleil inoubliable (si le temps le permet). Parfois, les nuages peuvent bloquer la vue — les remboursements ne sont pas possibles dans de tels cas. Vous pouvez éventuellement parcourir une partie du sentier PR1 « Escaliers du ciel » (1,2 km, 3 € de frais) pour une vue à couper le souffle, en revenant dans les 45 minutes environ après le lever du soleil. La visite se poursuit jusqu'à la plate-forme de verre au point de vue Guindaste, où vous pourrez admirer l'océan à travers un sol transparent. La dernière aventure est le sentier Larano de 7 km, une randonnée côtière modérée de 2,5 heures entre Machico et Porto da Cruz, révélant les falaises spectaculaires et la beauté sauvage de Madère. Après la randonnée, détendez-vous en vous faisant déposer à votre hôtel, terminant une journée remplie de paysages incroyables et de moments inoubliables.

Great guide and trails. Worked with us on weather issues. Knowledgeable and personable local with a great attitude.
I went on this trip solo and this trip was so accommodating. The driver was full of knowledge and took time to answer any questions. He waited for us after we stopped for sunrise (the van was lovely and warm) - a lot of other drivers of other tours didnt wait so this is why you should book this one. The time at each stop was reasonable, there was plenty of time to capture pictures, ask questions and enjoy each location. The hike was awesome, socialised with others on the tour while we all soaked in the beauty of Madeira. I would 100% recommend this excursion with your trip to Madeira to make it an awesome holiday :) - Craig
Great experience. Ross is a lovely driver who was very professional. We didn't get to see sunrise due to the weather, but we were ware this could happen before we booked. The Larano hike was perfect, not too difficult and we were lucky ro get great weather. Ross gave us great directions to make sure we could easily find him at the end. I would recommend this excursion.
This excursion really shows how beautiful Madeira is; it's worth the money. Despite the strong wind and rain, we reached the mountain and saw the sunrise. We drank delicious coffee at a local bar, relaxed, and had a snack with a wonderful view.
So glad I didn’t rent a car and booked this tour instead. The inclines are no joke, but our driver made them look like child’s play. The sunrise was amazing, and the hike afterwards was great as well. The sea platform was underwhelming, especially because the glass floor is hard to see through. It’s important to note that the driver stays in the van the whole time so the hikes are not guided. Might be something to consider for solo travelers though the hiking routes were well maintained and visited.

A great option for a solo person (me), couple or even a group who don't have their own transport. Convenient pick up and drop off service, with helpful and interesting information from our friendly driver. 7 of us shared a mini-bus to visit Stairway as well as the excellent Loredo coastal walk.
10/10 driver (André) , great guy, fantastic humour , amazing driver. Picked us all up safely , got us to the top quickly and let us enjoy the beautiful views. Knowledgeable about the area and told us some nice facts and kept things funny and relaxing.

Sunset was really good, and the guide had a head torch he gave us for free!! Also, it's a really nice scenic trail afterwards, your taking a trail along the side of the mountain with the ocean to your left.
