Excursion à l'est de Madère au départ de Funchal
Description
Vous escaladerez la troisième plus haute montagne de l’île, le Pico DE Arieiro, qui offre une vue imprenable sur l’île. La prochaine étape est Ribeiro Frio, le point de départ d’une célèbre promenade en levada (canal d’irrigation), où vous serez émerveillé par les bassins de truites et découvrirez la forêt préhistorique qui recouvre Madère. Après le déjeuner dans la ville colorée de Santana, vous visiterez d’autres points de vue incroyables tels que Ponta DE São Lourenço, et vous ferez une halte à Machico avant de vous rendre à votre hébergement de Funchal.

Le premier arrêt est à Terreiro da Luta, un magnifique point de vue situé à quelques kilomètres de Funchal.
Le Pico do Arieiro, à 1818 mètres d’altitude, est le troisième plus haut sommet de l’île et offre une vue à couper le souffle.
Ribeiro Frio, où vous pouvez voir son intéressante ferme de truites. Cette région a encore beaucoup de sa végétation d'origine.
Santana se caractérise par ses petites maisons triangulaires en chaume. C'est ici que nous ferons notre arrêt principal pour le déjeuner.
Situé dans la partie orientale de l'île, c'est le lieu où se combinent à merveille roches, mer et nature.
La dernière ville à visiter est Machico, un point de vue où vous pourrez observer la baie et la plage de sable doré.

Great views, the tour with Bruno was very informative and interesting. Definitely recommended!
Our tour was french and English.. would not recommend it the tour guide talked to much and a lot of information was boring and having to listen in both languages was torture. Listening non stop to him talk the whole day really ruined this day for us.
Great first time visiting the East side of the island of Madeira. A full day packed with beautiful sights and short walks. Our tour guide was great and explained everything to us and gave us lots of great information about the island! I would say that it is quite a long day in a bus so if you get travel sick take note! Lovely way to meet some people though and to visit the island. Pick up is very handy and the bus in air conditioned with comfortable seats. Overall would recommend !
Company kept us informed about pick up time from our hotel, Bruno our guide and driver arrived 5 minutes early. Journey around east of island was spectacular and a must do and Bruno was an amazing guide and driver, a wonderful 8 hours spent, don’t think about it just do it, you will not regret it.
Amazing! Words cannot explain how beautiful this island is. The East is just spectacular and breathtaking. This is a great tour! It is small, not too many people which makes it very enjoyable and personalized.
Good way to see the East side of Maderia. Our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and made it an interesting day. We got to travel in a small group (minibus). Pickup and drop off were good and the company were prompt at responding when using the Viator App.
The tour was great and we saw beautiful views. Bruno was very friendly and we learnt a lot from him. Bruno was a fantastic guide. He showed us some beautiful places and recommended us a nice café and restaurant. We definitely recommend this tour.
Wonderful tour around madeira and the tour guide was amazing..he made sure to point out important locations and very informative..
Very good tour, good guide (Bruno). Not an issue for us but be aware that this was an 09:00 to 17:00 advertised but changed to 08:30 to 16:15 and also pick up point changed a few hundred metres.
Great tour great guide Picked up from our hotel Victor was great getting us to top of mountain before mist came down and crowds arrived!
