Itinéraire
La visite commence par votre prise en charge à votre hôtel tôt le matin (entre 4 h 30 et 6 h 30 environ), en fonction de l'option de train que vous souhaitez (Expedition / Voyager ou Vistadome) et des disponibilités (de mai à septembre, nous ne pouvons pas garantir l'option de votre choix, mais nous vous proposerons celle qui vous conviendra le mieux). Depuis la ville de Cusco, vous vous rendrez à la gare d'Ollantaytambo en une heure et demie en voiture privée.
Depuis cette ville traditionnelle, nous prenons le train pour « Aguas Calientes/Machu Picchu » pour un trajet d'une heure et 45 minutes, en profitant de vues imprenables tout au long du trajet.
Une fois arrivés à la gare, un représentant de KANTU PERU TOURS nous attendra et nous conduira à la gare routière, d'où nous poursuivrons notre trajet pendant une demi-heure en direction de l'entrée principale de la citadelle du Machu Picchu.
À votre arrivée, notre guide vous attendra à la gare routière pour commencer notre visite guidée privée d’environ 2 h 30, au cours de laquelle vous découvrirez les sites les plus importants de la cité inca. Vous disposerez ensuite de quelques minutes supplémentaires pour explorer le Machu Picchu à votre guise (en suivant le circuit jusqu’à la sortie). Après avoir quitté le site inca du Machu Picchu, vous devrez prendre le bus pour retourner « la ville d’Aguas Calientes » par vos propres moyens, puis vous vous rendrez à notre restaurant où vous dégusterez un délicieux déjeuner (entrée et plat principal). Après avoir savouré le meilleur de la cuisine péruvienne, vous prendrez par vos propres moyens le train pour retourner à la gare d’Ollantaytambo ou de Poroy (selon la disponibilité des trains). Après un trajet de 1 h 45 vers Ollantaytambo ou de 3 h 30 heures jusqu’à Poroy, un représentant de KANTU PERU TOURS nous ramènera à la ville impériale de Cusco. Nous arriverons en soirée (entre 17 h 30 et 21 h 30) à nos hôtels respectifs. REMARQUE : les horaires de prise en charge à Cusco peuvent être modifiés sans préavis, en fonction de la disponibilité des trains et des billets d'entrée au Machu Picchu. Kantu Peru Tours choisit alors les options les mieux adaptées à la situation afin de vous garantir la même expérience et le même nombre d'heures de visite au Machu Picchu, sans précipitation. Si la réservation est effectuée une semaine avant la date du voyage, le client sera informé si la durée de la visite s'avère trop courte ou trop longue.

This was such a great experience! Start to finish, every logistical detail was covered. There was someone helping us every step of the way and we had a full itenerary for us detailing out all our transportation methods. Excellent price given all the tickets and logistics involved. Amazing trip. We were so lucky to have such a great day. Warm and clear. We did the Circuit 3, and frankly didn't notice a difference from the Circuit 2 expereince and Circuit 3 is considerably cheaper. The train ride to Aguas Calientes is breathtaking. Starting in The Sacred Valley, going through the "Cloud Forest" and finally into the jungle where Machu Picchu sits. We did the Vista Dome package. Highly recommend.

It was most informative using a tour guide. We used a private tour guide, Wilbuir and he was extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient. It's a lot of walking on uneven stones.

I travelled to Machu Picchu with some friends this past September. We happened to be there during the train strikes, leaving us stranded in aguas calientes. It was definitely a bit of a stressful time to be visiting, as we weren’t sure how we were getting back to Cusco, our bags got lost, etc. In spite of these challenges, Kantu guided us through the process, ensuring we got on a train to ollantaytambo, a van was waiting for us, and our bags were at our hotel in Cusco. All of this after a mesmerizing two day tour of Machu Picchu. Kantu was great, but the shining star was Christian - he is an incredible tour guide. Knowledgeable, supportive (as I struggled through the hike), kind, helpful, and 100 percent committed to showing us all that Peru had to offer. Without a doubt, ask for Christian as your guide!! He really was the highlight of the tour for all four of us.

The trip around Machu Picchu was total amazing and Samuel was brilliant. Not often you go to a place which has such high expectations in your mind and then it blows your mind. This was our first experience in Cusco, and everything went perfectly. We were picked up right outside our hotel and taken to the train station, where they explained clearly which train we needed to take. On the train, we were given snacks, which made the journey feel special and enjoyable. The ride itself was very smooth and relaxing. Once we arrived, there was someone already waiting for us to guide us through the process — explaining which bus to take, which line to join, and making sure everything was organized. The staff even checked our bus number to confirm that our guide was already waiting for us at Machu Picchu. At Machu Picchu, our guide greeted us and explained which circuit we would follow. He was incredibly knowledgeable, explaining the history in detail, taking photos for us, and allowing us plenty of time to enjoy each section at our own pace. He was very patient, even resting with us when the altitude became a bit challenging. After the visit, the guide stayed with us in the long line for the bus back, making sure everything went smoothly. He even gave us recommendations on where to eat afterwards. Later, we boarded the return train, and once we arrived, our driver was waiting to take us back to the hotel. The timing was perfect from beginning to end — no delays at all. Overall, visiting Machu Picchu with this team was an incredible experience, and I would highly recommend it.
