Tour was okay. It felt like we went around and around the same areas but worth it if you don’t feel like walking up and down hills. The bus did make some stops for pictures which was helpful.
Small group tour. Informative taped information. One stop for rest rooms. Cold drinks available for purchase before departure. A good way of seeing the city Recommended
Rating for my 6/27 experience for my 1130a tour and arrived to request whether I can do a later tour and the nice young man at the booth said no problem since the later tours will have less people due to hot weather. 1130a tour bus was overloaded anyways because people were on standby for that one before the heat wave came in. So I came later for the afternoon tour at 1p instead when my toddler was awake and more ready to do the tour. Seeing that we are traveling abroad here, we arrived and the bus driver gave us attitude problem in the heat. He was unbearable saying that we should have arrived for the scheduled allotted time that was booked for. There was no common sense and he said the AC was broken. He was clearly trying to push us away even though there was only 4 other guests wanting to take the tour at that time. The tour bus was only less than a quarter full and he said there’s no room for us possibly and a stroller. Didn’t want to argue in this heat as we were all hot headed. I was annoyed and he didn’t make this tour welcoming to start with- especially in this heat wave. The AC worked 10 minutes before the tour ended and he turned it on to the highest. He asked for water bottles charge during the tour. A couple gave it in the tip box. I think this guy needs to be reevaluated on service level. Wished the audio talked about the caves that was passed by at the end. Very mediocre. It was just unpleasant with the bus driver and the heat wave added fire to the whole experience. The nice young man was helped to ease the tour product but other than that, I wouldn’t recommend this city bus tour. I would say just go on the tram and buses that are complimentary, do the walking tours to get a good idea of the city’s history. The bus driver’s service mannerisms was lacking and really made the trip from the get go, unpleasant. There was no apology or anything.
Tour itself was fine, drove past all the places worth seeing in Luxembourg City plus stopped to allow us to take photos at the fort which was lovely. Only thing that we mark it down for is the fact it was sweltering in the bus, went on a hot day and the minibus we take the trip on is not equipped for a hot day
Took this tour on the second day of our visit. Took the little train tour on the first day. The combination of the tours offers a good insight to Luxembourg City. Very informative. Would definitely recommend the combination of the two tours.
small friendly walk, the only and big disadvantage is that you can not choose your seats beforehand. I was with 1 adult and 2 children and we had to settle scatteredly on the bus, we were the last to get on and it is a shame when you are with children 3 and 6 years old. we had to take one on our lap.
A perfect way to get an idea of the city in a short time and without physical effort. Luxembourg is an unusual, neat and very clean city, with a lot of old, beautiful buildings, and at the same time very modern. The departure point was easy to find. The ride was comfortable and informative. The lady who drove and guided us is a very skilled and professional driver! My only complaint is about the logo stickers on the windows that blocked the view from my seat and made it impossible to take pictures.
Very interesting city, this tour has certainly allowed us to see places where surely will not go alone
Very informative and gave us an excellent overview and orientation to the city. Friendly abd helpful driver.
Great experience to see Luxembourg city and hear about it all begins it was very i formationive driver was very friendly and five us time to take pictures Bit I would rather to have a live person speaking than to have the audio talking
