Luang Prabang : Croisière vers les grottes de Pak Ou et les cascades de Kuang Si

Une excursion d'une journée complète aux grottes de Pak Ou et aux cascades de Kuang Si. Nous quittons l'embarcadère de Luang Prabang dans la matinée. Flottant le long du Mékong, vous serez amoureux du magnifique paysage de Luang Prabang. Arrêtez-vous dans un village "Ban Xang Hai" pour déguster un whisky de riz et un vin de riz locaux uniques. Ensuite, explorez la grotte mystérieuse avec un guide local. Déjeuner buffet au restaurant surplombant le fleuve Mékong. Dans l'après-midi, nous prenons une voiture pour les cascades et profitons de la baignade dans l'eau fraîche. A 17h, nous partons pour la ville. Arrêtez-vous dans un village Hmong en cours de route. Nous rencontrerons des Hmongs portant des vêtements traditionnels et visiterons leur petit musée Hmong. Arrivée au centre-ville ou à votre hôtel à 6h00. Il y a une option pour visiter les cascades le matin et les grottes et la croisière en bateau au coucher du soleil l'après-midi. C'est la même expérience sauf que les itinéraires du matin et de l'après-midi sont échangés.

Un petit village unique sur les rives du Mékong. Ban Xang Hai, également connu sous le nom de village du whisky, est célèbre pour ses produits artisanaux tels que la distillation et la vente de whisky, de tissus tissés à la main et de bijoux.
Ces deux grottes sont situées à environ 25 km de Luang Prabang, où la rivière Nam Ou se jette dans le Meking. Le trajet en chaloupe lente aux grottes est décidément pittoresque. En remontant la rivière, vous pourrez voir les habitants pêcher et écouter le rire joyeux des enfants qui s'amusent dans l'eau. Les grottes sont vénérées dans tout le Laos et sont un lieu très prisé des touristes et des pèlerins. Il y a quelque 4000 statyettes et statyettes dans les grottes, principalement du Bouddha, dont beaucoup sont recouvertes de dorures comme du papier. La première grotte est accessible par un escalier raide depuis le bord de la rivière, tandis que la deuxième grotte est un peu plus profonde à l’intérieur de la montagne: apportez une torche!
Les chutes de Kuang Si, parfois orthographiées Kuang Xi ou appelées cascades de Tat Kuang Si, sont une cascade à trois niveaux située à environ 29 km au sud de Luang Prabang. En arrivant aux chutes, détendez-vous et profitez du magnifique cadre naturel. L'eau tombe et tombe doucement dans plusieurs piscines claires et fraîches où vous pourrez vous rafraîchir. Les aventuriers peuvent se rendre au sommet des chutes en empruntant une piste escarpée où une vue imprenable les attend. Les cascades de Kuang Si sont également un endroit où se trouve un centre de sauvetage pour protéger les aurores boréales, l'espèce en voie de disparition.
Au retour de la cascade, nous visitons un village Hmong. Nous traversons le village et nous arrêtons devant un petit musée construit par les villageois. Les villageois vêtus de costumes traditionnels nous racontent leur vie originale dans les montagnes.

- Cette tournée n'est pas difficile du tout. Mais c'est environ 10 heures d'excursion d'une journée complète, y compris un trajet longue distance (60 km). Si des personnes âgées et des nourrissons font partie de votre groupe, veuillez envisager de choisir l'option fractionnée de 2 jours ou l'option privée

An INCREDIBLE tour! It was extremely comprehensive and Da was a FANTASTIC tour guide! Everything was so well-run, and honestly I feel like the tour kept getting better and better! Every stop was magical! I cannot recommend this enough! If you only do one tour in Luang Prabang, please make it this one!
The waterfalls were beautiful and there was plenty of free time to enjoy them. Boating up the river was also enjoyable. The guide and drivers were great.
Fantastic whole day experience seeing Kuang Si Falls, meeting a baby elephant at Manifa sanctuary where we had a delicious lunch, visited Pak Ou caves and a whiskey village where we tasted 2 different whiskeys! Out guide Ben, was so friendly and knowledgeable, highly recommended.
Beautiful day on the waterfalls and the Mekong river …. The tour guide amazing name Bon!!! He was very enthusiastic and helpful in all aspects, very caring and kind . We love him The waterfalls are breathtaking, what a beauty in Laos . Also the long tail boat on the mekong river so beautiful and peaceful .. good opportunity for a relaxing on the journey all the way to the temples on the rock formation. I really recommend this tour and the company.
An absolutely unforgettable day in Luang Prabang! Our guide, Dang, was fantastic, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout the trip. Seeing the rescued bears and feeding the elephants were wonderful, heartwarming experiences. The ultimate highlight of our tour was the sunset cruise back down the Mekong River. It rained just a little bit, which rewarded us with a stunning, picture perfect double rainbow over the water. We also enjoyed visiting the village of the Hmong people. The only minor downside was the lunch. While it offered several options, the food quality wasn't the best. However, they did have an excellent cold drink selection and ice cream to make up for it. This tour exceeded expectations! The falls in the morning is a MUST. You get to climb and walk at your own pace; all doable, and the winding roads towards the caves was worth it in my opinion as it was a trip lol but I am young and living through it alll! The buffet was vegan friendly and avoid the elephant if you can for their own protection :)
This was nice. They drop you off at the different places and give you free time to explore. It’s not a guided tour which I really liked. Lunch was at an ”elephant sanctuary” which I thought was questionable. They said that the elephants could live freely in the forest and only came to the fence for snacks. However, they were obviously trained to perform tricks for tourists, like putting a hat on a person etc.

This itinerary includes several stops where guests are given free time to explore independently, but our guide should still provide clear background information and context at each place. They live in a forest-and-river environment under the daily care of experienced mahouts, and interactions with guests are meant to be calm, limited, and closely supervised. This was an awesome tour! The day was filled with activities and the boat ride was very peaceful. The lunch was excellent and I also was able to see and feed the elephants. Ended the day with the waterfalls, rice farm and sunset cruise. Highly recommend! The tour guide Von was great and knowledgeable.
It was a really good tour. The cruise back to Luang Prabang was out of this world with the beautiful surroundings. Enjoyed myself thoroughly, thank you.
