Un safari d’aventures avec une abondance de paysages à couper le souffle et des manœuvres palpitantes en 4X4, tout en découvrant les lieux de tournage du Seigneur des Anneaux. Visitez les lieux de tournage de Minas Tirith, les montagnes de Brume, la porte des Rois (Argonath), les Champs de Flambes, le gué de la Bruinen et bien plus encore. Parcourez une route minière historique, le long de la rivière Arrow, arrêtez-vous pour chercher de l’or à la batée. Admirez les vues panoramiques spectaculaires du bassin de Wakatipu.

En parcourant une partie de la colline de Queenstown, vous aurez une vue à vol d'oiseau sur le lac Wakatipu et Deer Park Heights, qui ont été utilisés pour les scènes de réfugiés de Rohan et de la bataille des Wargs.
Dirigez-vous vers les gorges de Kawarau, où le tournage a eu lieu pour Argonath, ou Piliers des rois.
En suivant une route d’exploitation aurifère historique le long de la rivière Arrow, vous traverserez plusieurs fois la rivière pour vous rendre à la Ford de Bruinen. À ce stade, vous pouvez savourer un thé le matin ou l’après-midi et vous essayer à un point d’orpaillage d’or.
Rendez-vous à l'entrée du canyon des skippers où des vues panoramiques spectaculaires sur le bassin de Wakatipu et le canyon des skippers vous seront proposés.

Very enjoyable tour with Tom the tour guide. Covered alot of ground and a number of LOTR locations. Enjoyed the off road Arrow River experience
We had such a phenomenal tour with Dan as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Lord of the Rings and was able to tell us many facts about things that happened behind the scenes as well. Dan was especially playful and patient with our two toddlers, even making them a little snowman and allowing them to throw snowballs at him. The hot chocolate and banana bread we got was also so delicious.
Great day with Roger our guide, morning tea beside the river and some panning for gold. Thank you Roger for good memories.
Great experience being driven through the valleys and mountains of Queenstown and the surrounding areas. Not as much lotr info/lore as i originally thought and was hoping for but driving through the rivers and visiting arrowtown kind of made up for it. 8/10 would go again, just wish there were more Lord of the Rings features.
This was a brilliant afternoon, with Kenny, starting with an awesome Queenstown lookout, exploring Skippers Canyon, driving up the Arrow River with some afternoon tea and a quick gold pan on the way. We visited a number of LOTR locations and finished the day with a drive up the Crown Range to see the sunset. Thank you for a fun afternoon. I think my favourite part was bouncing and wobbling our way up and down the Arrow River....so much fun!! 😁

Very competent driver and tour guide. Lots of historical tales from the area. Great referencing to places seen in LOTR. Beautiful country not seen from any other perspective. 4 wheel driving through rivers, up and down banks. Hang on, it can be a bumpy ride, oh but what fun!
