Be prepared for all weathers, you will need a raincoat. As the ship is small, it can manoeuvre within the Trollfjord and is silent. The Trollfjord was well worth visiting, stunning scenery! The ship also knew where to stop to see the sea eagles and we saw loads of them!
Very good trip, the only issue to improve is the low volume of the guide at upper outside desk, was not able to hear it.
Our Silent Trollfjord Cruise was an enjoyable experience in a number of ways, although I did feel as though the price was quite high. We were in Norway for 2 weeks, Lofoten for 4 of those days, and we decided to do this cruise just to soak in the views of Lofoten from the water rather than always from the land looking out. The good: the crew was friendly, helpful (especially with my daughter's food allergies), and very informative. They were a highlight. The views were nice, and we did get to see, photograph, and take video of a number of sea eagles in the area, which was another highlight. The boat was not crowded; there was room for everyone. I do think that the cruise would have been far more enjoyable and the views far more dramatic if we had been blessed with a clear and sunny day; the day we went was overcast and rainy, which was a big disappointment. Obviously, the crew could not help any of that, but it should be considered when making a reservation for this expensive outing if you are looking to get dramatic photos of the fjord. Best for families and those seeking a quiet, calm outing rather than the excitement of the RIB boats.
This was a wonderful cruise! We took the evening cruise from 7:00PM until 10:30PM and were able to see a lovely sunset. We also saw sea eagles, and the crew made sure to alert people to the eagles' location and to pause the boat so that we would have time to take some photos. The fjord is beautiful! The boat is comfortable and we had plenty of space to sit or to walk around the boat to see different views. The commentary was informative, and the view of the fjord floor (under water) was very interesting.
Great cruise, got to see many sea eagles and other wildlife. A dolphin or whale would have been great but this didn't happen.

Periods of rain on/off throughout the trip - however - it was beautiful and a wonderful experience! The eagles were plentiful and majestic! The accommodations on board were comfortable regardless of weather!
Many thanks to the crew of Captain Audun(?), Victor, Sandra and Bea for a truly memorable experience! The weather was perfect with clear skies and calm seas. Sandra and Bea were excellent guides, sharing a lot of interesting facts about Norwegian fjords, the birds in the Lofoten Islands and stories about Trollfjord. All delivered in a lively, funny manner. The best part of the trip is the silence they can maintain in the fjord, thanks to their hybrid engine. This lets you enjoy the tranquility of the fjord at its best! Unfortunately, this gets broken once in a while by the thundering RIB safari boats rushing past. I strongly recommend taking this silent boat ride that allows you the time to enjoy the quiet solitude of the fjord.
Really a great experience to appreciate Lofoten scenery on the cruise. It’s a totally different feeling trip. Highly recommanded!
