Description
Découvrez les magnifiques paysages du Loch Lomond et du parc national de Trossachs, nourrissez nos vaches des Highlands et visitez une ville victorienne. Dans cette visite, vous aurez l'occasion de visiter Luss - considéré par certains comme le plus beau village d'Écosse - et profiter de la vue imprenable sur le Loch Lomond depuis la jetée du village. Nous nous dirigerons ensuite vers Kilmahog, où vous pourrez rencontrer et nourrir nos poilus Highland Coos, avant de nous rendre dans la ville victorienne de Callander, où vous aurez le temps d'explorer la pléthore de boutiques indépendantes pittoresques, de cafés et de restaurants. Enfin, nous visiterons le château de Doune, utilisé dans les Monty Python, Outlander et Game of Thrones films et séries télévisées, avant de vous ramener à votre logement de vacances.

Le magnifique village de Luss est niché sur les rives du Loch Lomond. Vous aurez 30 minutes pour explorer ce magnifique village pittoresque, qui a été élu « le plus beau village d'Écosse ». À Luss, vous pourrez également trouver une pierre tombale Viking Hogback rare.
À Kilmahog, vous aurez l'occasion de rencontrer (et de nourrir !) les célèbres vaches des Highlands écossais.
Callander, souvent appelée « la porte d'entrée des Highlands », est une petite ville devenue célèbre à l'époque victorienne en tant que destination de vacances populaire pour les visiteurs essayant d'échapper aux grandes villes industrielles à la recherche de nature, de beaux paysages et d'air frais. La ville a conservé une grande partie de son caractère victorien et vous aurez 1 heure pour explorer les nombreux magasins, cafés et restaurants indépendants.
Le château de Doune est un château médiéval par excellence du XIVe siècle, doté de l'une des grandes salles les mieux conservées d'Écosse. En plus d'être présenté dans Monty Python et le Saint Graal, Doune Castle a également été utilisé comme Castle Leoch dans Outlander et Winterfell dans le pilote de la série télévisée primée Game of Thrones.

Nous viendrons vous chercher à votre hôtel, ou dans un autre logement de vacances à Glasgow ou Stirling. Si vous êtes en croisière, nous vous retrouverons à la sortie du terminal passagers du bateau de croisière. Vous serez déposé au même endroit où vous avez été récupéré.

Our guide Shak had a lot of knowledge of the places visited, aswell as their history, and could answer questions asked accordingly. He was very positive and friendly, especially to the kids. The tour in generell was very kid friendly and enjoyable.

Just a delight to tour the Scottish countryside with Karen, our guide. Visiting the tiny village of Luss was adorable as was seeing Loch Lomond. A wonderful half day tour with George. We thoroughly enjoyed his humour and knowledge - the time flew by! Lovely, comfortable vehicle with snacks galore. Our highlight was Doune Castle, which is a must for fans of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

A nice day off the boat in Glasgow. Scotland is vast so expect a bit of a long ride. Shaq quickly figured out that there were golf people in the car so an unplanned detour to Cameron House on Loch Lomond was a bonus! His storytelling and singing kept us all fully entertained. Would recommend him without hesitation.
