The entire organization was perfect. Henry, the Director of Operations, helped us organize the entire tour and made sure everything went smoothly. Podda, our driver and companion, a luxury!! Super attentive, discreet, kind, looking after us throughout the entire trip, he took care of the tickets to the sites, took us to eat at restaurants with the food we wanted, and had multiple thoughtful gestures until the very last moment. If we return to Sri Lanka or have to recommend a guide to someone, it will undoubtedly be Podda.

Already the planning of our individual trip with Henry Lionel was smooth and highly professional, we could choose and book the hotels that we wanted and all our wishes were respected. At the airport we were greeted by Henri Lionel and the driver guide Chrish. Chrish was an excellent tour guide and driver. This started with finding an approved foreign exchange dealer on our first day that offered better rates than the banks at the airport. He was always friendly and courteous, organized perfectly all our desired Ayurveda massages, was very flexible when we wanted changes and shortenings to the planned schedule, made terrific suggestions for sights that we had not planned, found delicious places for lunch, gave informative insight information on the sights we visited and all our questions we had during our 14 days together. In short: we were very happy, having him as our guide.

Mr Raja Deepal was our English-speaking driver-guide for our 6 days, 5 nights journey from Colombo to Kandy, Mirissa, and back to Colombo. Throughout the trip, Raja was consistently helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and patient. He drove carefully and responsibly, which gave our family great peace of mind. His local insights and willingness to accommodate our schedule made the experience smooth and enjoyable. We were also very impressed with the service provided by the organising agent, Merganser (Sri Lanka) Holidays. Their responses to our queries were prompt and professional, and the arrangements were well-coordinated from start to finish. We would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Sri Lanka for the first time, and we would certainly engage their services again for future trips.

Thank you Travel with Manjula for an amazing trip of a life time. You took such special care with us, particularly being helpful with my husband’s lack of mobility as he waits for his hip replacement. We enjoyed all of the experiences you arranged for us and it was great that your pick for each guide was always spot on. We managed to see all the animals and birds we wanted to and more. Manjula also provided lots of helpful information on what to do in Sri Lanka for example how much was an appropriate tip for guides. Manjula was also knowledgeable about the history and the practices of the country so we learned a lot about Sri Lanka along the way. Spending 21 days with a total stranger could have been difficult but we all got on very well and the whole experience was excellent. Thanks again.

Fabulous service for our family trip to Sri Lanka. Henry was very helpful with all our questions before we made the trip. We enjoyed a typically friendly Sri Lankan welcome. Our driver, Muthu, was very friendly and considerate. He joined us every step of the way and looked after the family all of the way.

The deal was excellent. Henry made us feel at home and everything was very well planned, we were travelling with him for 15 days throughout Sri Lanka. He was very punctual and a great driver: prudent, at the right speeds and very quiet. We were definitely very lucky!

My husband & I extended our trip from India to Sri Lanka, unsure of what to expect. SL is such a beautiful country, wonderful & helpful people, so many things to do & see, with the help of our great driver, Krish. We booked a 4 day tour, not long enough, but we definitely will need to do a 20 day tour. We went from Colombo, Yala (Safari), Ella, train to Nanu Oya, then drove to Kandy, then ended in Negombo. We thank him for being timely every morning, driving safely, & keeping the AC on, car clean every day, being flexible with plans & made sure we could customize the itinerary the in country as well. The company provided us with great communication upfront with pricing and what to expect in the package, a whole itinerary for everyday, & inclusions / exclusions. Great WhatsApp communication, as well, whenever needed. We booked hotels on our own within our budget & went over the mileage limit, but prices were reasonable. We had a little difficulty with communication as some things were hard to explain in English, and would have appreciated other things to do than hikes, but in the end, things worked out. We definitely would recommend this company if you don’t want to backpack or navigate the train system fully. Thank you!!
