We have rented boats dozens of times in lots of different places and the way Christy and her team handled our family was the best experience I’ve had. From the initial call to advise an early show time to the detailed trip/navigation layout + too much to type. It felt like we were getting an additional service package on top of the boat rental for the same price. Strong recommendation!

If you are looking for a great day on the water in Key West, this is it. The boat was clean and ready. The staff was great. As we were boarding one one of our party members dropped their phone in the water. The staff jumped in and retrieved it for them. The staff also plotted a course for us to follow around the island and out to the sand flats. It was just a great day. We will definitely do it again.

We rented a boat for the whole day and the journey was beautiful, we were able to swim in clear and warm water, see some of the prettiest part of key west. The boat was perfect for 4 people and worked perfectly. However, we were really surprised on how unfriendly the lady explaining the rules. The boat driver has to have a license (which is perfectly understandable) but he also have to speak perfect English otherwise they would not let us on the boat and we got almost yelled at when we were speaking another language than english during the briefing. Boating in key west can be tricky and they provide an app to download on the phone which can be hard to understand and since we didn’t have a paper map just in case, we were luck not to run out of battery. It was pretty stressful to navigate even for good sailors Lastly, the boat was not in his greater shape (a few cracks on the engine). Shoutout to the guys greeting us for fuel were awsome ! All in all it was a very nice trip and we all really had a good time but there are a few things to improve.
We rented a pontoon boat to see Key West from the water. I’m not a water person so having the pontoon boat made it much more comfortable for me to enjoy the beautiful water and some dolphins! Staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend Sunset Watersports for anyone looking to get on the water in Key West
