Au cours de cette visite d'environ 3,5 heures, nous traverserons des lieux emblématiques tels que la Plaza San Martín, le Marché Central et le Chinois traditionnel. Les voyageurs découvriront les ingrédients locaux, goûteront à la cuisine péruvienne typique et pourront déguster le célèbre Pisco Sour. En parcourant des rues historiques comme Jirón de la Unión, le guide partagera des anecdotes sur la culture, la gastronomie et l'histoire de la ville. La visite se termine près de la Plaza de Armas de Lima, le cœur historique de la capitale péruvienne.

La visite commence à l'historique Gran Hotel Bolívar, situé sur la Plaza San Martín. Ici, le guide donnera une brève introduction sur l'histoire du centre-ville de Lima et la gastronomie péruvienne avant de commencer l'expérience gastronomique.
Promenez-vous dans la rue la plus traditionnelle du centre, entre histoire et gastronomie.
Nous visiterons l'église et le couvent historiques de La Merced, l'un des édifices religieux les plus importants du centre historique de Lima. Le guide expliquera brièvement l'histoire du lieu et son importance durant l'ère coloniale, tandis que nous marcherons le long du traditionnel Jirón de la Unión.
Nous visiterons le célèbre marché central de Lima, où les voyageurs découvriront des ingrédients péruviens traditionnels, des fruits exotiques et divers stands de nourriture locale. Ici, vous pourrez déguster quelques saveurs typiques de la cuisine péruvienne.

Juan Diego was our tour guide. Had a really enjoyable food tour. Juan gave a a great history lesson of the area, he was very knowledgable and inciteful. Food was very tasty, definitely worth the money.

This tour exceeded my expectations. It was a great way to get to know Peruvian gastronomy while walking through the historic centre of Lima. We tried various typical dishes and drinks, and each stop had something interesting to discover. I especially liked the fact of visiting local places and not just the most tourist points. Everything was well organized, the pace was calm and the experience seemed very authentic. I recommend to those who want to know the Peruvian culture through the Food.

It was a really nice and authentic experience. We went to the historic center and Chinatown and the local market where they selling fruits, vegetables, fish and meat. We have tasted some typical food such as choclo con queso, ceviche, papá rellena and picarones. Diego also explained as the places we went and the history behind them. It was a very nice experience and we had a lot of fun.

I absolutely loved this food tour! The fruit tasting was something I didn’t expect and it ended up being my favorite part. I tried many new fruits, all fresh and delicious food. The guide was very friendly and explained everything really well. Definitely a unique experience and highly recommended.
