Situé à Midleton, à environ 15 minutes en voiture de la ville de Cork, les visiteurs commencent par regarder une vidéo informative qui vous présentera l'histoire de Jameson qui produit du whisky irlandais depuis plus de 240 ans. Ensuite, promenez-vous dans l'ancienne distillerie en compagnie d'un Guide Expert. Entrez dans un entrepôt du XIXe siècle, qui a été soigneusement restauré avec des caractéristiques originales et stocke maintenant des fûts remplis de whisky vieillissant. Terminez au Jameson Bar, où tous les participants pourront participer à une dégustation comparative. Apprenez à distinguer Jameson des différents types de whisky. We did this one because I wanted to see where it was made. Most would do bow street because it is in Dublin and around other things but this is not to be slept on. I was already a huge Red Breast and Spot fan but it was cool knowing the deeper specifics of the craft and the history of the brands. Katie was fantastic and was able to answer every Niche question I had and you can really tell she loves what she does. Aoibhe at the bar was wonderful too. One of the best whiskey tours I have done. Be sure to do the premium tasting and buy the offered bottle while buying tickets. Almost didn’t do it until I learned of all the other whiskeys besides just the green bottle Jameson. Glad I didn’t miss this!
Excellent tour with well informed friendly guide. Steph answered all our questions and went looking for answers. Location is well looked after, well laid out and a pleasure to visit. We had initially bought the incorrect tickets and were helped out with no hesitation, reducing our costs substantially. All staff are helpful and well informed. Thoroughly recommend. Non drinkers can enjoy a delicious lemonade at end of tour.

A must-do if you are a whiskey lover
Very well-organized and interesting tour. The explanation is in English, but a written text in other languages is also provided, with a summary of the general information. The final tasting of three whiskies accompanied by explanations was good. One warning: they did not provide snacks, so get something in advance if you are on an empty stomach at the time of the tastings.
An amazing experience- our guide Aiden really brought the experience together. Very interesting and well worth the money.
