Description
Passez par des sentiers accessibles uniquement en jeep pour avoir accès aux vues les plus exclusives, uniques, merveilleuses et étonnantes de l'île de S.Miguel en compagnie d'un guide local certifié. En partant de Ponta Delgada, nous allons vers le volcan des Sept Villes, où nous aurons plusieurs arrêts, notamment le Pico del Carvão où nous pourrons apercevoir la mer aux extrémités nord et sud de l'île. Ensuite, nous passerons par un aqueduc daté du xlXe siècle, pouvant apprécier sa magnifique construction. Ensuite, nous commençons notre aventure sur un chemin de terre battue entourant le sommet de la chaudière où vous pourriez être à 856m d'altitude. Ici, vous pourrez admirer la beauté de la chaudière volcanique des Sept Villes et visiter la paroisse située entre elles.

En quittant Ponta Delgada, nous nous dirigeons vers le volcan Sete cidades, où nous ferons plusieurs arrêts, notamment au Pico do carvão, d'où nous pourrons voir la mer aux extrémités nord et sud de l'île.

Filipe was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and has a genuine love for the Azures that shows. We were so lucky to get a guide that grew upon the island, is incredibly intelligent and knows every beautiful spot to stop and all the great places to eat. Not only did he provide a spectacular tour, but he dropped us at a great dinner spot and filled us with lots of wonderful memories of the day. Highly recommend!
We had a great day with Andre. The island is beautiful. The jeep was alot of fun, luckily Andre is a great driver. Our cruise was delayed getting into port, and Filipe was so nice and accommodating to pick us up at a different time. I highly recommend this company and tour.
We had a fabulous full day tour with Filipe with Azores by Locals. He is a lifetime native and really gave us an excellent experience. We took the jeep ride along the rim of the craters of Sete Cidades and the hydrangeas were outstanding. We ate lunch at one of the popular local restaurants with their famous octopus. Also toured the pineapple farm and had delicious pineapple treats. Filipe even took pictures of us during the tour with his personal camera and sent them to us after the tour.

It was out arrival day and still jet lagged we had the afternoon tour with Filipe. Punctual, knowledgeable and holy great driver around the crazy crater road! Made day 1 a great experience.
Felipe was so knowledgeable of his island. He was switched on to our interests and needs for the excursion. He related stories and anecdotes of his experiences as well as historical and geological facts of the area without going overboard. He read the changing weather and adjusted the itinerary accordingly. Driving the rim of the volcanic lake on the narrow track, we always felt safe. We had a great day thanks to him.
