Vallì and her husband Dave were both accommodating and fun. The class was super fun, educational and located in a lively area of Verona. It's very close to the main train station if you are hopping between areas/cities within Italy. Glad we booked this class! It was only about 2.5-3 hours and we get to eat what we made. If you are looking to do some more planned activities, I highly recommend. If you have dietary restrictions, this may also be a good option as Valli specializes in cooking with little to no salt, sugar, etc so very clean and fresh ingredients. You get to the location and Valli or Dave will meet with you & lead you up to their place and then the cooking class begins! Overall great experience.

Step by step exactly how to get potato gnocchi to stay together and be delicious. The gorgonzola cheese sauce for the pasta was outstanding and simple. We heard wonderful stories and learned more about the culture of the area and what living there is like. The cultural sharing is worth at least as much as the knowledge how to cook! Definitely recommend this sweet young lady and her partner for a great cultural experience overall.

Such a fun cooking experience! We had an amazing time preparing Valentina's grandma's gnocchi recipe. The 'class' was great and we really learned how to make gnocchi from scratch. And the entire time it felt like we were hanging out with friends. Valentina & Dave were so welcoming and fun - and ending the experience with a beautiful gnocchi dinner, wine and a nice conversation made it all the more memorable.
